  1. I started talking natures bounty before surgery and now after my surgery .. Biotin 5000mcg twice a day ... Its a real tiny pill I haven't lost any hair yet ... It's only been 11days post op !!! So I figured I'll nip it in the butt
  2. I drink it every day , I'm 11days post op I just mix it with water or chicken broth just don't heat up past 130 degrees it will lump up
  3. Great hope it helps it counts as liquids
  4. How about mixing it with almond unsweetened milk or coconut unsweetened , I even added pb2 and it helped I'm not gagging or getting nausea from it with milk , also u can try isopure , or unjury maybe change the brand
  5. Just the sugar free ice Popsicles ,there about 1.5oz I have like 6 there cherry grape and orange

  8. Every surgeon is different I had to do 3 days of clear liquids before surgery also protein is based on the person every one is different ... I was told pre op to shoot for 80-90mg I had to go on a diet prior .. Everyone is different so there needs are different ... Now that I'm post op the surgeon gave me 64/64 ... I'm 1 week post op and in up to 40-48 0z of fluids and about 60-70 of protein it's gradual u work ur way up

  12. I'm a week post op & I'm getting in what I Need ?? ... I'm up to 60-70mg of protein & about 48oz of of total fluids trying to get to 64oz taking my vitamins ?? & I'm still on clear liquids ..... What do u think is going wrong ???
  13. Yes doctors are so different .....I'm on clear liquids for the last week ... On friday I go to full liquids for 2weeks

  16. It's based on your insurance what they require before the approval ... Mine was six month I had to see a Nutrionist , I had to have a psy eval , blood work , stress test , EKG , ECHO , physical , PFT's , sleep study , i had a preop class , every insurance company is different & every surgeon is different ,... Good luck
