The bypass scared the crap out out of me !!! & I know to many ppl with the band & they had issues and didn't loose that much weight !!! Everyone with the sleeve are so pleased with it ... It was my choice right away & the surgeon agreed that the sleeve would be better for me

No I go with dr Nihalani ... In the same building where they have the support group ... Yes I go they got 1 on the July 10 I be going ...

I guess I'm lucky my surgeon said I can do petite tabs and just swallow so I got all my vitamins in petites !!! Those chewables are all nasty to me

Me too 5 days so far I'm calm ... Started to get my bag together for the hospital

Yeah every doctor is different I had to loose 40 lbs before I even got a surgery date ... Thursday the 11th is my surgery and on Monday I do all shakes & on the day before all clear liquids .... But I've been on 2 shakes 1 meal and 2 snacks since march !!! They all have there own thing depending on the person because I know some that is not on the same diet I'm on and we are both seeing the same doctor

My surgery isn't until next week ... @ JFK with dr Nihalani the process was okay it will be 6months when I get surgery so almost over for me

I'm adding it to my list of recipes when I go thru my purée foods thanks for sharing My count down has begun 10days is my big day

Mines is the 11th ... I figure we will need some comfy pj to walk in & some loose fitting close to go home in that's what I got , and ur toiletries , I'm packing my phone charger and my headphones .. That's really all I'm taking

I started feb2013 and I will be getting sleeved July 11 & it took about a week from when they submitted my paper work to get approved then they gave me a date but like u said every doctor , every insurance , every Nutrionist is so different ... I have to loose weight & be on a six month diet !! Good luck in your process

Ive had mine for about 2month & my pulmonary doctor says 3 months after surgery I have to go back in so he can check me & then I have to go have another sleep study to see if my sleep apnea is gone !!! My surgery is July 11

I'm really picky with taste of Protein shakes I really like unjury & my NUT recommends it ... I just pray I still like it after surgery ...
