alot of insurance company request it the sleep study like all the other test ... I had to do sleep study , EKG , stress test , echocardiogram , endoscopy , psychology evaluation. , physical , blood work , PFTs , I think I forgot something ... The doctor told me of you have sleep apnea it doesn't slow down you process , you just need a little extra like cpap to sleep that's all ... And they need to know that when they put you under for surgery

I work in a small office so I just told them I'm having weight loss surgery & that's it ... Easy peasy

LOL .. I've actually finally getting @ least 7hrs of sleep ... But yes I'm really short I'm only 5 feet so my BMI was exactly 57.7 a heart attack waiting to happen as the surgeon put it !!! My BP is high and Asthma ...

Those are for on the run she told me !!! unjury she recommended for making it in my blender those are powders 100% whey isolate for after surgery ... The pure Protein Im actually drinking now because I just got out of work & I'm starving so it puts a plug in till I get home and eat something light

That's what my NUT said the unjury products are high protein low carb low fat and low sugar and they taste good ... So I just hope I like it after surgery I got a few samples from my NUT & tried it & they are very good !!! So I pray I will be able to hold them in

Well my surgeon said he wouldn't consider surgery until my BMI was down ... I was @ his office @ my highest weight 296 BMI 57 I'm 40yrs old and 5" !!! Well can I just say I left there and cried ... & then went to an all u can eat buffet and stuffed my sorrows !!! Then I went to see my NUT and she made me feel better she gave me this list !!! She said pick 1 every week till I get them all !! Then she gave me the amount of calories she wants to at !!! It's changed as I've started to loose weight now I'm @ 1200 calories a dAy !! In the beginning it was 1800 Weight loss tips 1) weigh yourself once @ day 2) limit TV 2hours a day 3) call a friend 3 times a week Or nutritionist 4) more Fiber in your diet 5) 10,000 steps a day 6) track food and diary 7) sleep 7 hours a night 8) drinks 8 glasses of Water a day 9) stick to a 8hr work week 10) cut sugar read labels Well as of this morning I was 258 lbs I have an appt with the surgeon next week to set up my surgery date ... Baby steps you gave up soda that's awesome !!! If I can do this Lord there's Hope !!! I wish you luck ... We are here to help each other Kat

This what my NUT recommend Pure Protein

I was told I have to take a chewable or liquid Multivitamin with Iron calcium citrate (not carbonate) with Vitamin D Vitamin B-12 sublingual And maybe separate iron depending on blood work ... I'm due to get sleeved in July

I just order my nutribullet I went to Walmart and they only had 1 left and the box look beat up ... So I got it online can't wait to make some smoothies with out all the chunks

I've thought about it ... My NUT recommended because I have serious food issues LOL ... So I will do it after !! I don't want to fall back in to bad habits !!

Ohhhh I do have to have a 2 week liquid diet .... But I have a pre op class that will explain everything I have to do ... Right now I'm on a low carb high protein diet ... As per the NUT .. So it's like 2 protein shakes 1 meal & 2 snacks only 1200 calories a day ...

Well I've been approved by my insurance so when I go see the surgeon on June 5th .. They will schedule me .. I'm hoping for July 8th ... My son will be in camp and my job is giving my 2 weeks so I'm keeping my fingers cross ... They give it to me ...

I been doing the same thing I started in Feb 2013 first I started just walking now I'm doing like DVDs but I'm in a lot if pain , my knees and ankle are a hot mess ... I thought since I've drop 37lbs my knees wouldn't hurt as much but they seem to be getting worse ... So I can't really advance !!! I applaud you keep up the good work it's only going to be better for you after surgery !!
