  1. I'm pre-op but that is one of the 4 meds we get sent home with after surgery.
  2. My Dr office says due to the pre-op diet there was "no bowel preperation needed". Works for me! Sorry if you have to do that:( Was no fun when I did the colonoscopy prep but that was drinks and pills.
  3. That's one of the options on my Vitamin list from the Dr
  4. I've had the non-booze version of the layered jello in a 13x9 baking dish at holiday meals. Much prettier in the bundt pan!
  5. Very awesome! You must feel like a new man...or less of a new man:)
  6. Mine started 2 weeks (13 days since my appt was Weds) prior to surgery. I'm on Day 3 today and so far so good!
  7. You've lost 19 lbs in 9 days?? I'd say that is pretty dang awesome!!
  8. When was your surgery? How much did you hope to lose?
  9. 68 lbs in 7 weeks?? Way to rock the sleeve!
  10. How much have you lost since surgery? If you've been losing I think I'd just stick with it. You'll probably see an overnight drop soon.
  11. Ha! Saw the correction on the 2 months not weeks:) At least your still losing even though it's slowed down for you. Seems there are many with stalls or slow downs 2-3 months out.
  12. Awesome job to both of you with your results!!
  13. Yea you!!!! Congrats! I walked a 5k 2 yrs ago with co-workers. Most ran and 2 of us walked. Thought I was going to die. Hope to someday run one. I run all the time in my dreams. Not in a race but all over some city, mountain, beach, whatever. Kinda like Forrest Gump;)
  14. Pregnancy issues won't be a concern for me since I'm old My Dr has not advised for 12-18 months after surgery but I don't think it's due to weight issues but due to your new tummy healing, etc...
  15. What are your protein requirements? Are you still on liquids only? I know all Drs are different, just wondering whats yours does.
  16. WOW! Pretty in pink:) Great job girl.
  17. Best of luck! Hope it's smooth sailing for ya!
  18. I had a long group appt today with 5 other patients having surgery the same week. I had planned on following Dr and dietician orders to a "t". I was also under the impression I'd be without coffee and on a liquid 2 week pre-op diet. Found out decaf coffee and tea is allowed before and after surgery. I can deal with that:) Also the 800 cal pre-op includes some actual chewable food even though they are all protein supplement foods that the office requires. So I came home with oatmeal, soup, bars and shakes and a few pasta meals. All ready to start MIJourney tomorrow!
  19. That's great!!! Congratulations!
  20. WOW and congrats! That's a huge amount to lose in just a year. Good for you!
  21. Hope things clear up once you're fully hydrated.
  22. Is your surgery date correct? 6/11/13? If so it seems you should be taking in more than water and apple juice. I may be wrong but it seems pretty far out to be doing just clear liquids with no protein.
  23. Have not had surgery yet but I'm going with "the sleeve is a tool" theory and it's going to be up to me to make it work:)
  24. Looks like you found the fountain of youth! Much younger looking in the after photos. Love the fringed top too
