  1. I am right there with you. I was sleeved July 1st. I lost weight the first two weeks and then nothing for the last 3 weeks. I follow the plan, drink my water, get my protein in and exercise 60 minutes 6 days a week. I am getting discouraged. I am a heavywieght, so I thought I would lose quickly in the beginning. They say the first 6 months to a year you lose the best......I'm bummed that I am stalled so early on and for 3 weeks straight. OYE!
  2. Can I be added as well? Thank you!
  3. Not sure why.....but my doctor doesn't require a pre-op diet either.
  4. Good Luck! I have my pre-op this Wednesday June 18th and surgery July 1st!
  5. I am July 1st too! My doctor doesn't require any pre-op diet.
  6. Not being an embarrassment to my niece and nephew.
  7. The funny thing is that my doctor does not require a liquid diet pre-op. I know that the 50 lbs he wants me to lose is based on my extremely high BMI. I understand it is in my best interest.....just very difficult.
  8. My whole procedure took less than 10 minutes and it didn't really hurt....just felt pressure. I just tried to focus on something peaceful and remember to breathe! You will do great and another hoop cleared!
  9. ....I have finished all my pre-op requirements except that my doctor wants me to lose 50 lbs pre-op! Just feels overwhelming.
  10. It is all about profit! I recently read a book titled "Salt, Sugar, Fat" by Michael Moss....it was all about the way companies find ways to keep us addicted to their products and how they try to hide it.
  11. We will be going together, but our surgeon recommends 6 weeks apart.
  12. Unwritten by Natasha Bedengfield And No Day But Today by RENT
  13. I asked my surgeon for mine, but he said he can only take apicture of it for me. I wanted to do something "ceremonial" with it.....like burn it or bury it.
  14. If you have a healthcare ombudsman in your state, you may want to give them a call.
  15. Awesome list.....thanks! Good luck to you too. When is your Eval?
  16. .....and trying to prepare my list of questions. Any thoughts? Thanks!
  17. My spouse and I are both going to have the VSG, but not sure if we should do it at the same time or not. Should we have it the same day or wait awhile in between? Thanks for your thoughts!
  18. Thank you all for the responses!!!!
  19. Thank you all for your responses! I haven't had surgery yet, but already have hair thinning, so I want to start theBiotin now. Hopefully, it will help! Thanks again!
  20. I want to start Biotin, but not sure what dose? Any thoughts? Thank you!
  21. I take a few Vitamins and supplements and some of the pills are quite larger. Will I still be able to take these after surgery?
  22. I like to juice veggies and fruits. I was wondering if anyone Juiced for their pre-op liquid diet or since their surgery?
