Funny thing today… I work in an office where you have to be bonded/ licensed. One of my clients came in and asked about my Bodybugg. He asked if it was a police tracking device like those ankle bracelets…..The girls in the office just started cracking up…

Hi I also have the small AP band ... my fill was 3.0cc and Doc said it held 10cc.. I feel no restriction yet.. :confused:

Miss Nilsa, Yes! I thought it was just me... Mine sometimes pokes through a thin shirt. I want to pull mine so bad, but I have this picture like a hem in your shirt you know... everything just coming un-wound! LOL I have a Dr. apt on Friday and I will ask... :eek:

Hi my husband was unsure also. I went to different places on the web and we looked at stats together. I told him my honest feelings about my weight and how it made me feel. I told him I really wanted him to have an open mind as we went through this together. He is great with it now that he has information on it. Also the Dr. talked with him and that helped alot. Good luck. This is a great place to be!

Shleb, I am newly banded so I don't know a lot about slippage. I did read on Trace W. Curry, M.D. Lap Band Surgeon :: Home about slippage. Also Dr. C has a great picture of a slippage. You should be getting other replies shortly.

wclark1215... I know how you feel... i'm very hungry. I have followed this diet to a tee. I feel I have done it all without the band's help. I don't get my fill until sept 7th! I'm just hanging in there and trusting in all who post here... Good luck!

I had a hernia and had lapband the doc just fixed it while he was putting the lapband in. It was no big deal. Of course it did cost me an extra 250.

Oh I can only feel it with my hand. I don't feel my port when I sit or lay. Maybe others do... I have my port on my side. Some have it other places. Its very interesting all the different responses people have to the band.

No my port is not uncomfortable. I can just feel it. I had surgery just a little over 2 weeks ago. I don't have any pain but am Just a little sore at the port site. I went back to work 4 days after surgery. My incisions are just about gone!

Oh man! I'm in heaven... I have been having hot flashes for 2 years straight. I haven't had one since surgery. It was like the Dr. flipped a switch. If its the anesthesia I hope it never wears off.

KMG1997, I can not feel the band but I can really feel my port. I do not feel tight at all but I am in liquid stage for 1 and 1/2 weeks still and will not have a fill until early Sept. Good Luck!

Hi Sweetforlife, I too had a h. hernia repaired when I was banded. I had chest pain also and was tight. It went away with in a week. I would contact my dctr just to be safe. It's scary.. I'm interested in other responses.. Good luck.

Hi Brandy, congrats on the banding. I was just banded 7/27 so I'm in liquid stage also. Its not fun but we can get through it! :confused:

Hi Shannon, I was banded 7/27. I am on the liquid diet for 4 weeks! I have been taking canned soup and adding water to thin... then blend, blend, blend. It is smooth and seems to do the trick. I also get yogurt. Good luck... This is a hard part.

hi-had surgery on Fri and was back to work on TUE.

A little over 10K.. had the same Doc as Denise.

Tracy, I had Surgery Friday the 27th. I'm up and around. I actually went into work today to get a few things (did not stay). I am a little sore. That's it! Good luck to you. You will do fine.
