  4. Leftover spaghetti squash and turkey meatballs thrown into into a delicious beef and tomato broth makes one of the best easy and amazingly yummy soups I've ever made! I don't know what smells better, my soup or the garlic chicken and red potatoes baking in the oven. ^_^

  7. I exceeded all of my fluid and protein goals yesterday! Let's see what Day 3 post-op holds!

  8. Today has been better than yesterday. Sipping water very slowly. I have choked down about 1/4 of a little jell-o cup. Thank goodness for pain pills!

  10. Well, I buckled down and got the Mirena... these cramps are absolutely horrid, but supposedly won't last more than a couple days. In the mean time, I have to sit back and cross my fingers that the weight gain and skin issues many people report don't happen to me... :( Sometimes I really, really hate having PCOS.

  13. I'm happy to report the guy who is my trainer is awesome. He's worked with WLS patients before. And while he hasn't had anyone with auto-immune, he understands the need to progress very slowly. I'm glad I didn't cancel tonight, I actually started feeling a little better after getting myself moving and am glad I met up with him.

  15. Today is my 2 year anniversary! I have been maintaining for over 6 months now. Yay!

  16. The more weight I lose the fatter I feel. Now I just look like some chick that had a bad breakup and gained 50lbs in year. *sigh*

  17. Ugh. Hurting worse today. This is what I was afraid of with strength training - if I overdo just a bit, it starts inflammation up which causes arthritis flare. Have another trainer session tonight, I'll go ahead and go because we're going to have to work together to keep forward momentum without overdoing it. Not taking any Advil because also have rheumy appointment today and they'll draw blood, don't want the factors to show low because of NSAIDs. :(

  19. This evening's clothing exchange was one of the best. The highlight? A BP member came! And she brought lots and lots of great clothes! And found lots of clothes! And is terrific, too! And lives a few blocks from where I grew up! If I did that at all!

  23. worked out with trainer for the first time yesterday. This morning my "good" knee is twinging and my abdominal muscles are saying "WTF, lady?" LOL

  25. Yep. Shutting off all the notifications helps. LL was correct. Just needed a break, and that seemed to help. Hope all are well!
