    All things cheese

I eat alllllll the cheese. High fat, full fat, hard, soft, creamy, blue, white, yellow, rich, delicious cheese. I don't worry about calories or fat, I track Protein and carbs only. Cheese is a definite green light for me. The more fat-filled and flavorful, the less I "need" to eat and the longer it keeps me satisfied. CHEEEEESE!

    Did I pop a stitch?

I am betting you are fine. They don't stitch your insides to your outer layer.

HIPAA violation: What would you do?

I would let it go. You couldn't open it so safe guards are in place. I think this was a victimless error, but that's just me.

    Can I eat crackers?

So, I guess I don't understand your initial question?

Is it on your surgeon's plan for you?

    Should I be upset?

I can't imagine telling my family they can't have pizza in their own home because I'm fat.

    Should I be upset?

Sorry to say, but I still think this is a a bit on the P/A side although I do think honesty is best. This kind of feels like a guilt trip and again, this was your decision, so it's not fair to your friends to make them feel bad about their decisions. If you can't go along with it, simply opt out of social situations until you can. If you choose not to opt out (I didn't), bring something diet friendly for yourself and eat when they eat. EMPOWER yourself to make great decisions. "Catching them later" is only going to make you resent yourself and your situation. Asking for their understanding? Meh. I didn't even understand what I was putting myself through until I was actually going through it.

    Uh oh..hidden seeds

You are right to be concerned but I wouldn't stress about it too much. Call your NP and let her know what you did. He/she will tell you the warning signs of anything to look for and even better, set your mind at ease.

    Time off

Sleeved on Wednesday, home on Thursday, normal activity on Monday. Tired, but doable.

    Should I be upset?

You have the RIGHT to be anything you want, but you don't have the right to dictate the actions of others. They didn't have surgery, you did. They aren't post op, you are. food surrounds us no matter what stage of the game you are in and that's not ever going to go away. It's up to you to adapt to your new world, it's not up to the world to adapt to you.

Probably wasn't your best idea. It won't hurt you as far as your stitches and suture line, but I'm guessing that the pure sugar hitting your system wasn't in your surgeon's plan for you. Hope you feel better soon!

    STARTING FROM ZERO ... TODAY

@@Angelica Marti Have you considered therapy? You have so little to lose that something as drastic as major surgery probably isn't your best option. Feeling bullied, suicidal, etc. won't go away with WLS. Hugs to you. I think a counselor and a nutritionist are your best bet. Good luck!

Meh. I say we are pretty awesome for being elderly. I just registered for Zumba certification in January and I can't wait. I will, however, most likely to tie my saggy old tits up around my neck during class.
