  1. I don't know if I'm a slow or fast looser. I don't really care. Surg 3-19-13 start at 237 now I'm at 188. Training now for a 10k run in the fall. Exercise is the main thing for me. I eat the way the Dr. says. And I exercise at least 3 days a week for no less than 30 min EVER!! Today I burned 378 cal. ALL cardio. My goal weight is 170. Oh and if I want something sweet I eat it. Not a lot but I eat it. It's all about moderation. "something I never even thought if before" I still battle the fat guy I use to be but I'm kicking his ass every time now! Good luck and DO NOT GIVE UP!
  2. Ok I'll put my .02 in. Started at 237 on march 19th now at 193 and its def longer. Hell it's kinda impressive!!! Plus fellas I'm on testosterone injections once a week and let me tell ya. The combination of weight loss and testosterone!!! Well lets just say...It gets so hard a cat couldn't scratch it!
  3. Ok everyone surgery was on March 19th I started at 237. As of this morning 193. On my way to 170. 44lbs damn I really can't believe it.
  4. Ok everyone I went to my Dr today for my 6 week post opp ck up. All is good!! He asked me how many cal I'm get a day and I tell him around 800. He says that's great! Dont go over 1200 cal a day. Also if I have a stall to go back to my pre opp diet of just protein drinks the whole day and then a meal at night. Other than that I'm free to do anything I want. Good luck everyone.
  5. Well it looks like it needs an email address to friend people on Ny Fitness Pal. So ill go first deputy630@yahoo.con
  6. Well I'm just gonna put this out there. If your on My Fitness Pal you can add me deputy630. I fig if we add each other we can see what everyone is eating. Also motivate each other. Just an idea!
  7. Mine is two weeks also. I'm stuck at 202. But you know I'm not worrying about it. I eat like 5 times a day and now I'm exercising. It's got to break one day. If you see everyone has a stall. So as long as your doing right it's gonna start dropping again. Hell it has too.
  8. Just remember when your pointing a finger at someone you have 3 pointing back at you!
  9. Rorie I know I'm stuck at 202. :0( I cannot wait to get under 200. I can see the light!
  10. Well I'm at my stall now. I've been at 203 for little less than 2 weeks. Kind of a Pain. My goal is 170 started at 237 and surgery was 3-19-2013. So how long was your stalk???
  11. Iontash that's normal it's gonna take about 3-4 days until you get use to that liquid. But I assure you it is so worth it. You will start seeing the weight come down and you will be happy. It's easy putting that weight on. Don't expect a walk in the park getting it off. NO PAIN NO GAIN. Or loss whatever you know what I mean. Hang in there all you can do now is lose weight. And that's a good thing!!!
  12. I've tried it all and I like all the Cereal and you can make it as thick or thin as you want. I also put the stage one bananas and applesauce in mine. Also they have like those puff cheeto things that are for babies and the cinnamon ones are awesome!! I looked at it as babies are having to adjust to different foods starting w liquids and moving to regular foods just like us! So why not use their plan. Seems to wrk for me! I
  13. Same here surgery date was 3/19/13 I ate a hamburger patty last night and I think I'm paying for it today. Diarrhea every few hrs not good. But I'm thinking it will pass. I'm really not worried about it. I also walked 1/2 mile and then ran1/2 mile so I fig it might be something w that. Other than that hell I fell great. Glad I had it done.
  14. Cyncity if you take in 1000 cal a day and you burn 2000 a day. And one pound is 3500 cal you will loose about 1lb every 4 days. Isn't thats kinda right everybody. So don't worry it's all good you are doing fine. Keep on steppin sista.
  15. I tell ya everyone liquid Centrum it's $8 at walmart and a bottle last 15 days.
  16. Yes they are. I don't blend anything but soup and eat baby food and drink protein and water. Seems to be working for me.
  17. Stef it's ok it will get better I assure you. If you look on here everyone has felt the same way. But when you heal you will be so glad you had it done. You are only 5 days out you can't expect to be better in five days. If you can't drink all that much who cares just do what you can. You will adjust. Expect your side to hurt for at least a month. Some stop sooner some stop later. It will stop. What you are going through is normal. Just hang in there. Remember its a journey. Also in the words of us past fat people you can only eat that whole pizza one bite at a time. So give it time. Oh and you will never be able to eat another whole pizza again!!!! Isn't it wonderful!
  18. Emr not to bad it's kinda got a fruit flavor , but at least it goes down fast.
  19. Angela yes it's pretty good. They have rice and oatmeal on the box it says Big Nutrition for Tiny Tummies. I fig that fits me. I use 4 Tbs w 1/2 cup 1% milk and just sip away I assure you you will get full. Also I use stage 2 Gerber baby food they have chicken ham turkey. Now that kinda taste weird but 1 jar will fill you up and it's cheap. But I get Gerber peas carrots applesauce everything and its actually good. As far as liquid goes I just try to drink my protein and then sip bottled water through the day.
