  2. Hi all, I'm just wondering if anyone of you are still sore? I am on the side where they took the stomach out. I hope the pain goes away soon.also what are you eating? I have 2 sugar free puddings a day 2 protein shakes and sometimes broth or cream soup and a sugar free Popsicle and I sip water but have to have ice in it for some reason.
  3. You can have cream soup add some water to it and strain chicken out. I noticed I drink more if I add ice to my water. I like it real cold now for some reason.
  4. What are some good protein shakes? I have tried two now and I can't find any that tastes as good as the HMR ones did. I guess they don't recommend them after the 9 day diet.

  6. I was sleeves may 1st as well just got home today. I was glad to stay 2 nights in the hospital I needed to rest and knew I wouldn't get much at home as I have 7 year old and a 1 year old. I could only have water the first day and by lunch time the second day I could have broth which filled me up I had jello but couldn't eat it then for dinner I had cream broth n protein shake. Today I had sf pudding I only could eat 3 bites cuz my protein shake filled me up. Definatley in pain it does get better each day and walking helps a lot!! I have 7 incisions and only 2 hurt .

  8. I got sleeved may 1st. Still In the hospital and doing good. When you wake up after surgery your in a lot of pain they will give you meds through an iv. Later on that same night I was able to start on pills cut up though and they last longer. I did get nauseated every time I got up and they can give you meds for that. I got to have jello and broth for lunch thank goodness because I had been on water for two days and was hungry. I didn't even eat all the jello you get full fast so take your time eating and drinking. Also you will feel better each time you walk it helps get the has out and sitting up. Each time will get easier and easier.
  9. I'm doing good surgery went great. I will say be prepared to be in a lot of pain the fist day especially it does get better. You need to make yourself walk you will feel so much better getting the gas out and sitting up. I feel better after I walk. The beds suck so walking helps my back too. Today I was able to eat jello and soup broth and for dinner I had cream broth. Yesterday I was just on water!! I did get a protein shake for dinner but didn't drink that much of it as I got full from the soup. It's better to eat slow too.
