I went to my Drs office today so they could take a new pic for their ad in our local paper, I'm so amazed that its me in the pic, my brain still says "you can't be that size, you have never been that size" I will post the ad when it runs in the paper. I have lost 133 lbs since my surgery 14 months ago.

I am 5-10 and that helps.
From 22 to size 16 though pants in after photo are 18. 16s not as loose.

This is what losing 150 pounds does for you! A girlfriend of mine said the sweetest thing "I didn't know you had a teenage daughter"...LOL. I do feel like I look younger being trimmer.
Taken within the last few weeks

This was taken in December i believe - I think I was 20# away from goal,back when I was a bit curvier. I was feeling pretty good, but, I like how I look better now even if my T&A disappeared since this photo was taken.

This is my before picture at over 300#. I don't have much to say about it but I KEEP looking at my befores to remind myself how far I have come.

The photo at the top left is me at my heaviest (489lbs) and the photo on the bottom right hand corner is me today at my current weight of 260lbs.

It took people at least 5 months to notice a difference for me! I was like, huh?! The changes that I saw in myself each month were subtle (I took pictures, too) but when we have a lot to lose, those 10 - 20 pounds don't show up as much as when someone only has 20 - 30 pounds to lose.
Don't weigh yourself every day (if you are) do it once a week and forget about the scale for the rest of the week. See it as a reward for your work during the week to check that scale once a week. You will have a more accurate account and not as much of a rollercoaster of up and down. .2 could be a few serious farts LOL!
And by all means, stop rushing yourself! You are only about 2 weeks post op. I know we all want to see buckets of weigh falling off and before you know it, it will be a few months down the road and you will be amazed at how much you have lost, but give yourself time. Focus on LIVING not waiting for the weight to come of. It WILL, but in the meantime LIVE don't wait. Keep on or start walking (exercising), look for interesting recipes to try, go shopping in your closet for things you haven't been able to wear.
It will work. I think the majority of us who have had the sleeve done think we are going to be that ONE PERSON who the surgery doesn't work for. But I know you can do this. Know why I know? Because I thought I was the one it wouldn't work for, and as you can see, it is working! Just wait till you are almost 11 months out like me it is the best feeling possible. And I am just someone who tried and failed miserably at losing weight many times. Now I am healthier, stronger and happier than I have been in ages. Meet me back here in 11 months and give me an update

Hey! Haven't been on for a while, teacher! Schools consuming my life! I had surgery June 19. I'm down 50lbs! Feel better than ever. Size 20 to 10 and XXL to M/L. Loving life!! Best decision I've ever made. Ignore my laundry!! I am throwing out clothes left and right! One fat pic is of my car accident. Look ridiculous! Lol

Here they are - size 10, 163 lbs. a little tight but I can zip and button them.
My friend found the picture of me 2 years before surgery. I'm not sure what I weighted but I weighted more right before surgery. I think I might have weighed 225-230.
