Good morning everyone! My name is Tracy and I am a foodoholic. Wow, it feels good to be back in violet rehab. I was so looking forward to being sober again. When I am done with this post I am going to make a ticker showing how much I am going to lose. I am so excited! My plan is kind of iffy on exactly what I wanna lose because I wanna keep a fuller face like I have now but I wanna lose the rolls I regained on my BACK of all places! My poor face was looking skeletal like Achmed the dead terrorist (for those of you that are familiar with JEFF Dunahm). I do not want to have that long skinny scarey face again, so I will lose until I see the turkey gaggle then stop. If my memory serves me correctly I think it will be somewhere in the 180s. I was paying too much attention to numbers before instead of how I feel & look. THAT is what I will go by this time. So, the main goal is to get to 18something (before I croak) then reevaluate myself. So, my new ticker will reflect getting to 185 and then take it from there. That is my plan. 12/27/08 is my all or nothing day  What a coincidence, that is today! Seems like there is alot of violets climbing back aboard the bandster wagon! WOOHOO . We can accomplish anything! Once again, Judy is my inspiration . Have a fantastic day everyone. Make healthy choices! Pamela...back away from the rum balls! :w00t:

Looks yummy....hope it taste that way. I am officially DONE BAKING! Thank you Jesus. I feel like doing a happy dance. Judy, I love having my laptop in my LAP :tongue2:. Its really nice to have my butt parked in front of the TV in the living room. Brings laziness and spoiled to a whole new level! Have a great evening everyone.

We are going to be putting out the reindeer food & water soon. Then when Macy has visions of sugarplums dancing in her head I will be wrapping presents. Santa is bringing her cupcake maker she wanted so badly. So, I know what my day will consist of tomorrow. Then, Friday we have the gathering at my moms for our family. I am bringing a boston cream pie and ALL the cookies I made for everyone and the banana bread to my family. Then SATURDAY is my day...no more sweets and no more baking for a year! I am actually looking forward to the house being sugar free. Sweet dreams everyone!

Good morning everyone! ***Jane update*** I spoke with her last night and she is in very good spirits. She is really hoping to be home today or tomorrow. She taught me something yesterday (she did not know this either :tt2:) but when you send a text to a group, you are charged for each one. I (we) just ASSumed that you would be charged once...nope. :w00t: Anyway, we laughed about that . She is still fever free and she feels good. We all need to send prayers & purple power over to her doc to not be a grinch and let her go home for the holidays. OH OH OH, and good news...her insurance only went up 30 dollars and not 300.00 :cool2:. Jenn-open your present!! There is another box inside, a cute one I might add! lol Laura-lol, I would take a hundred bucks out of a tampon box anyday! TOO FUNNY! Terry-sounds like a relaxing day you had yesterday! The no fill thing had to be a mutual decision between you & the nurse, right? They aren't really the type of place to say 'no fill for you', are they? I am gonna get one soon. Maybe 3 or 4 months of PBing and oatmeal & Soup is what I need.lol In all reality, I need to not be able to eat so much! :huh2: TracyinKS-love the new avatar! The family pic is great too. Aren't you all just a photogenic group?! Haydee-sorry that your sister had to go to the slammer! Wow, I would die. Maybe it was a good lesson for her. Did she seem like she learned anything? I hope so. Sorry your ut of town plans got trashed! Pamela-boston cream pie...mmmmm:drool:. I am making one for our family get together Friday. never made one before so I hope it comes out good! YAY, still undefeated! That is so awesome! I love baseball & softball! Judy-I'll bet you froze your butt off caroling last night! I am so proud for you that the choir did such great performances. I remember I used to be so proud when our choir did a great job. It is a super feeling! Suzie-enjoyed the chat on facebook lastnight! Macy ended up passing out as soon as her head hit the pillow. :wink2: Kat-I knew you did not have text messaging so I posted about Jane as much as I could but I was out of town over the weekend. I had already told myself if something had happened I would call you! I wouldn't leave ya out (not on purpose anyway) :wink2: Michelle-isn't it funny how kids think 2 or 3 days of playing well with one another = being good all year for presents. lol Sure does make it nice for the few days before Christmas though, right? Terry-here is the banana Nut Bread Recipe mom gave me: 1 stick of butter 1/2 c nuts (we use walnuts, the more the better) 2 ripe bananas-medium sized (which is 1 cup) 1-1/2 cups flour 3 eggs 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup buttermilk 1-1/2 cup sugar Cream butter & sugar until fluffy. Add eggs & bananas and buttermilk, mix well. Add sifted flour, soda & sugar. Stir in nuts. Bake on 350 for an hour. Have a great day everyone...make healthy choices. The Band Santa is watching!

You know it is so true...when we were newbies there was such hope and like Terry said the harder it got the more we lost hope. I was definitely a rule follower. I am an all or nothing kinda gal and i had no sodas, no drinking while eating, no bread, no pasta, no rice. I wish I could go back to the day I tried bread and talk myself out of it. My case was mostly 'if I can't smoke, I will eat'. It was a conscious decision at the time....not knowing I could not relight the inner fire to lose the weight again. Sure, if I could do it over again I would have tried something else, who knows, maybe I would have never quit smoking? But, hindsight is 20-20 and I have come to far to start smoking again. That is not even something I allow myself to consider. I know if I started again I would never quit. So, with all that being said, we all need to find our fire. We have the gasoline but someone played a cruel joke and hid the matches! So, while some of you look for matches, I will rub sticks together. At least we will be trying, right? I have to get back to my 'all or nothing'.

Good morning ladies... Ya know, all joking aside, I can not wait until after Christmas or New Years is over to start behaving and following the rules again. I am back up to 215.5 in a matter of Thanksgiving until now. If I wait another full week oe 2 I will be over 220 and I can't do that. I bring cheating to a whole new level. I am addicted and I need to stop. I have fallen off the wagon for a very long time and I need to get back on it and reclaim my sobriety today. Waiting until after Christmas or new years for ME is just an excuse to act like an idiot and not feel bad about it. :tt2: I need to get back into my 17 or 18something mentality. I am appalled and ashamed of myself. It would be different if I was just talking about losing 5 or 10 pounds after the holidays but that isn't what I am dealing with. Maybe next year I can try to have fun like that. Not this year....or at least not anymore this year! I have to stop myself because this is a train wreck in the making and I am putting on the brakes as of today! Wish me luck! Make good choices....I AM!
