Thank you everyone! As you all know this isn't an easy journey but it's one I'm so glad I'm on! This tool opens so many facets of life that I didn't realize I was missing. Its become so much more than just a loss of pounds and inches it's really an awakening! ????

This is very true and great advice!! The sleeve is a tool but you HAVE TO DO THE WORK!! Congratulations on your success! When I started I had a BMI of 61. I had a one year pre-op period (insurance misfires etc.) and by the time I had surgery I was at 49. It took me about a year and a half post-op but I got down to a normal BMI (barely). I won't lie to you -- it was extremely hard work after about the first 8 months post op. I engaged in hand-to-hand combat with every single pound I lost. The sleeve made it possible for me to do what I never had been able to do before, but it did not make it easy. You really have to be willing to work hard and fundamentally change the way you interact with food. Good luck!

Lately I haven't had much of an appetite. I was just eating to sustain and I had mixed feelings about that. I wanted to enjoy my food but in limited portions of course. I finally found something that I enjoy!! Shredded chicken with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, egg and lf shredded taco cheese. Delicious!!

I get the hiccups when I'm full. As soon as I hiccup my friends and/or family fight for my leftovers!! LOL I also tried on boots today and was able to fit them over my calves!! I'm so excited to dress for the fall. Good luck this is definitely the journey of a lifetime.

@ Roz I think you're eating fish too soon! That may be the cause of your slime. You should stick to liquids and soft at least 3 weeks post op. Good luck! It definitely gets better.

I am almost at the 100 lbs mark and I am so happy!! I've noticed some new things that I'm sure many take for granted but for me it's awesome!! I am able to cross my legs like a lady and be comfortable! I noticed my legs don't rub anymore when I walk. I can actually wear a XL and it looks good!! So happy I made this decision!! No looking back!

Hi ladies! I too have PCOS. I was diagnosed when I was 20. My doctor told me if I didn't have kids by 30 I never would. My hubby and I tried for 6 years and it never happened so by 30 I gave up. At 32 I decided it was time to lose weight I had gotten up to 335 lbs!! I lost 40 lbs and was really proud of myself (not to mention how cute I was) lol. 2 months after the weight loss by baby boy came on the seen!! I was lucky because I only gained 15 lbs wit my pregnancy!!
Now 5 years later I was back up to 363 lbs. I had surgery on 4/29 and I'm down to 324 lbs. My periods hav always been irregular well actually none existent. But it came a few days ago and I'm hoping this isn't regular. That was the only part of PCOS I ENJOYED!! Lol
I guess there are different PCOS symptoms in everyone because I didn't have Migraines or Hair growth. We figured out it was hereditary because my mom had it as well and she was on the other end of the spectrum, too small. She had me at 33 and that was the first time she weighed over 100 lbs!! So go figure!! Good luck to you all!!

I'm confused....
Sx was on April 29th' date=' today is May 8th that's only 9 days - not 3 weeks.
Is my math wrong? I'm just confused. I am sorry if I read your post wrong. I'm trying to figure out what is typical for 1 week POST OP weight loss only, not the PRE op stuff too.[/quote']
I had surgery same day and I've lost 21 lbs. since surgery.

Take the Lortab. You won't get hooked if your taking it for what it is intended. You just had major surgery of course your in pain. I am 8 days post op and I used all the way up til day 5 or 6. I jus started takin it less and less each day until I was comfortable. Don't torture yourself because of fear of addiction. Besides your body needs to rest and stressing over pain will not allow your body to rest therefore slowing its healing. You'll be fine and still walk and if you can find Gas X strips those are great also. Good luck!!

I'm glad you're seeing the positive changes through your whole family' date=' you're definitely setting your kids up to make responsible, healthy choices for their whole life! [/quote']Yea when I was 5 days I was thinking "what the hell have I done?!!" LOL. I cant wait to get out of this liquid phase. I think once I can eat a Lil more variety the better off I'll be.
