- happy Sleeve Eve to me!
Good luck, and enjoy your new journey in life.- Vision loss linked to bariatric surgery?!?
I read in a article that the vision got better. In fact this person said, she got rid of her glasses and her vision was perfect after years of wearing glasses. The person said she had learned there were other people who had the same experience after having WLS. I only remember reading this, because I have an eye disease, and hope this happens to me. I have notice I can see a bit better. Will see its been only a week and a few days since surgery.- Precooking meals(for hubby) for after WLS
I told everyone in my family they were on their own.I have a older daughter living with us. So she has been cooking. My husband is dieting and trying to do shakes, because he refuse to have surgery. If I were you maybe you could make a head casseroles, chicken pot pies, soups, anything you game freeze ahead time for your husband while your healing. This would be a great time to start cooking.I hope you have a freezer.Good luck, and I hope this helps a little.- Gaining during surgery
I had my sleeve done 4/22 and I to was surprised to have gained weight.I lost 11 pounds pre-op.Then after surgery gained 13 pounds. It's been a week and I lost 10 of it but, I thought losing before surgery I would be a head. I'm glad I'm not the only one.- First Beer
Lets us know how the beer felt good or bad.Enjoy your weekend!- Going home
Great news! I had mine 4/22/13 Took a small walk today and now I'm tired.I'm sure sick of this liquid diet.I'am so ready to chew if I could. Lol In fact my Daughter made a gluten free healthy pizza. It was really good, but then I spit it out and rinse my mouth. Just to chew and get some flavor was great.Hope you heal fast :-)- Some reassurance/advice por favor! :)
Me too. Had surgery 4/22 /13 I had lost prior to surgery. Then weighted myself yesterday and I gained. Does anybody know why?- The GREAT WALL of Sleeve
Had my sleeve Monday. My body didn't adjust we'll. I wasn't urinating and blood pressure fell to 98.Well, they finally gave me water and things started working.I still had a lot of flem, and congestion in my chest. I'm back home as of last night, and had the best sleep. I just feel tired and feel like I have the flu.I'm sure things will get better.- Yayyyy Today is My Big Day! ❤????❤
This is my big day to finally.Say a prayer for me.:-)❤❤❤❤❤- Yayyyy Today is My Big Day! ❤????❤
. GOOD LUCK!- 2 days till surgery!
I think all of us would love to run to hills for Italian food and more! :-)Right now I'm so hungry. My daughter made my family an Italian dinner, but low fat. I don't care it smelled so good, so I just went to my bedroom while they ate dinner.I know I'm making the right choice.- Im so sad smh
Your doing this for you.Forget about your boyfriend. You are more important. You are going to feel, and look better when you have the surgery. When they see you months after your surgery they will be eating there words. Some people have nothing good to say or there very negative.Don't let anyone change what you want in life. This is your journey, and forget what one says , because they are not your friend.Good luck with your surgery, you'll do great!- photo
