  2. So... I was out of town the past couple days, so I've been eating out just about every meal. Also (TMI warning) it's the dreaded TOM, so I've been eating everything in sight! I know! I'm such a piggy! ... And whatdaya know?? As of this morning, I stepped on the scale and, I have a new low weight... 128 lbs. I love my sleeve & my sleeve loves me! lol

    Sleeved nurses.

I think there's more lifting in MS, unless y'all have a wonderful full staff of CNAs that can do all your lifting (did you chuckle at this??)

    2 days post op.

I'm surprised about the Advil. Most surgeons say NO Advil. I never needed pain meds after surgery, so if you're feeling good, then you don't need it.

    pre-op antibiotics?

They usually give (ok, I'm talking US surgeons) IV abx right before (as in minutes before) or during surgery.
  14. Feeling like my workouts aren't "enough." ... Wanting more, but not sure where to go from here. Hmm..

    The moment I knew...

The moment I knew I had to change: While performing chest compression for a few minutes during a "code blue" another nurse had to tell me to sit down because it looked like I was going to pass out. It was so embarrassing. I couldn't even do my job. Now I can run around all night and not feel physically tired. I just think of chest compressions as a little extra cardio (for me & the patient)

What the heck do you eat?!?

What I eat: real food meat, seafood, veggies, eggs, fruit, nuts I've stopped eating all bread, rice, potatoes, and Pasta... But that's MY preference. I also like yogurt, cheese, Protein shakes, Quest bars I be sure to measure/weigh everything I eat to be sure it's the right amount. I have pics of food in some of my photo galleries if you want to check them out.

Good question! Yes, we would be more likely to overlook it if it looks like a pretty beaded bracelet.

This was only my second time in a year (thankful for that!) but I was super embarrassed it happened in front of my coworkers.
