I made my husband a pot roast in my liquids week and pureed that and put it in 2oz servings and froze it.... it's been amazing... I also cook the egg whites and useed a little Jimmy Dean tureky crumbles and then pureed that and also put in 2 oz servings... awesome.

Had my surgery on Oct. 17th and am down 26 lbs.... Its been the best thing I have ever done. Have been on pureed food for a week now and in one more week I will go to soft food. I have so much energy its unreal... I wonder if anyone else has sampled small bites of real food? This surgery has gone so flawless for me that its hard to believe that I have ever had it. I neverhave any pain and 2 oz. of food just does not cut it sometimes.. more like 3-4 oz?

So do you have any good recipes for us that are puréed ?? Btw good job on the weight loss!! I have not sampled any food as I do not want any complications. I am playing it by the book. I have been blessed so far I am not about to blow it!!

Wow you lost 19 lbs in 9 days that is awesome!!! Good for you. I have lost 8 lbs and I had surgery on Nov 1st!! Maybe you should stick to your liquids a little while longer jk! Sounds like we are doing about the same we are very fortunate. I hate it when I hear that others are having troubles because I know that could have been me!

I had my surgery October 28 an I've lost 19lb. Everything went well in my surgery an still doing good I didn have a lot of pain just when I got out bed the first time at the hospital other then that I'm good

I am on my 7th day post op and have been recovering so well. I am supposed to be on a full liquid diet until Sunday morning but I am dying for puréed foods. This creamy Soup stuff was great for a day or two but now I just want chicken and tuna and things like that.

These past 7 months have been great & a lot of changes for that have made my life so much better. Wish I could of had this surgery done sooner in life , oh well , I'm living it up now. I can be that fun, energetic mom to my kids now. I can that happy wife to my husband , I can be proud of who I am & not be ashamed of letting myself go after having kids. I'm proud of what I've accomplished & who cares if I had surgery to solve the problem , I'm the one who took the risk , not anyone else. I'm the one healthy now. Good afternoon! I must admit I have been stalking this website for quite a while. There is so much wonderful information here. Let me introduce myself. I am Angi. I am married to a wonderful man, who is very supportive. We have 3 children and 3 grandchildren, well, 5 grandchildren if I count the 2 four-legged furry ones. :-0 I began my sleeve journey when I attended a seminar in January. My surgeon is Dr. Westmoreland in Murfreesboro, TN. I really like him and his staff. I have met all my requirements and my surgery date is May 17th! I can't wait for that date. However, it makes me very nervous, too!
I am like most of you, as I have read on here, I have always struggled with my weight. I am a Type 2 diabetic with high bp and sleep apnea. I am looking forward to this journey and to a better, healthier life.
