Pretty anxious and nervous all at the same time. I have been through the informational class, and have a Group Class this Saturday. I meet with the Surgeon to see if I'm even a candidate on May 13th.

Even though my insurance covers the surgery, I'm guessing I will still have to go through the 6 months with the dietician. I'm hoping not, as the blood work I had done at my last physical was pre-hypertension, high cholesterol and pre-diabetic along with asthma. Praying that they say I'm a candidate for the surgery now. The BMI is at 40. I just don't want to have to be medicated for the other medical deficits if I don't need to be.

Update: Surgery is scheduled for Oct. 17th. and the 2 week diet starts Thursday the 3rd.

Today is November 6th, 2013 and I'm down 26 lbs in three weeks. Tomorrow is my first day back to work and I'm excited to go back. We joined our local YMCA today even though we have a great treadmill in ur basement. The Y offers so much more and there is something to be said about getting out and exercising.
