  7. OK all May sleevers. I have yet to have surgery (14 days). What would you have done differently? Is there any words of wisdom for us yet to come. Did you take anything special to the hospital that you want to share? Every surgeon is different but there is enough the same. I read everyone's post and it is good to hear everyone seems to be doing well that posts. (except for the usual pain, nauseous, tired at home, sleep issues). I am going back to work 6 days after surgery how long did you wait?
  8. There are many clips on You Tube you can watch. I looked at him decided on another doc. Write down all your requirements and research. He does do a lot during the day I have 2 issues (BMI and Revision) so I went with someone I felt had more experience and time to take because I will take longer. The doc I have will only do 2 surgeries that day. My doc price was about $1000 more.
  9. We all scared/nervous/anxious. My revision is in 14 days. But I have to get this band out. There is no choice for me starting to have major complications. If you are not to that point yet I bet you will. The sleeve to me (a everyone says) is a tool. We can do it together!!

As long as you don't neglect the important people in your life I feel we should all feel good about ourselves. I can't wait to see onederland and I will save for a mommy makeover too. It is not that I don't like myself I want to do it because I do like myself and I want to be the best me there is.

  28. First congratulations on the weight loss!! I am glad you are in therapy to improve yourself. the most impossible thing we can do is change another person. When someone is not happy with them selves/low self esteem, feeling of being out of control they look for a partner who they can control. MAYBE he felt he could control you because he felt out of control now your attitude is changing you are feeling better about yourself and he feels he is loosing you/control. I was a domestic violence advocate (and also divorced) for a number of years and domestic violence is not just a black eye it is also emotional/psychological abuse. examples Not being there for your partner, not having a mutually beneficial relationship (give and take),withholding emotions-feelings, withholding sex or making the other person feel bad about wanting or desiring sex. I am NOT saying you are in an abusive relationship but I am trying to provide some insight into what one might look like and yes every relationship is different. Abusive relationships of any kind just don't change overnight but they can change if both parties want too. Good luck. Make your own goals and decide what makes you happy.
  29. Good for you and Good for all of us!!
  30. My boyfriend has one and the difference between his quality of sleep before and now is amazing. The noise on the newer ones are minimal. Once you get adjusted and there is an adjustment stage of a few nights, you will wonder how you slept without it. Don't worry
  31. Maybe Ketosis (symptom is bad breath). That is when you are not eating carbs so the body has to burn fat.
