  1. Hey Angie' date=' I think it must be different from one to another because I was only a bit swollen for a couple days and never noticed any after that. I am also very bruised, but then I bruise very easily anyway. I feel awful about all you've gone through and I wish you a quick recovery from here out. {{ hugs}}

    Did you do a revision and sleeve in one surgery. My revision is may2 and im trying to brace myself on how I will feel vi didn't feel bad after band

  2. I was just wondering about weight watchers. Would sleeve patients lose weight if counted points? I know that we are suppose to watch carbs and all of that' date=' but also Portion Control. Bananas are high in carbs, but free points on weight watchers. I was curious to see if anyone does weight watchers points and still lose weight?[/quote']

    I started ww 2 months prior to surgery so I got used to tracking it also sped up approval from insurance

  3. I would be interested in knowing that as well. I'm planning to have mine unfilled by the end of the month. Hopefully I can keep myself from gaining too much in the mean time. I have 5.9cc in 10cc band.

    Me too I've been doing weight watchers since unfilled no slip just reflux surgery may 2

  4. I had my band removed (Thank GOD!) and was sleeved April 2. I literally had no success w/ the band. After losing the first 28 lbs and then regaining it all back' date=' I had stayed at the same weight since I got the band in Oct. 2009. So, it's now 11 days VSG post op, and I'm down 14 lbs. I've "recovered" remarkably well, but am dealing more with the emotional issues. Taking it one day at a time![/quote']

    How is your recovery I revise on may 2 and am wondering how I feel compared to lapband post op. My bmi is 34 8

  5. My date is may 28' date=' very excited, started making changes as I fond out info, so Thanks for all this info.[/quote']

    Just remember taste buds change after surgery. Some times you get lactose intolerant and my nut said to get crystal light or Water flavoring because some people can taste metal in Water. Get samples of Protein what you before surgery you may not like after. Look at about time Protein two dollars a pack several favors and ship free under samples
