Pretty self explanatory....I'm now four weeks post-op and I'm starting to feel hungry, like legit hunger, not head hunger! Lol, anyone else?

Ok, for those of us having trouble getting our Protein in and still crave something yummy and sweet:
Protein PACKED PUDDING!!!
...all you need is:
1 box of fat-free/sugar-free jell-o pudding mix
Skim or soy milk
...mix these things together and have a protein packed snack!
*************
Don't know what to do with that disgusting (not so) unflavored Protein Powder? ?? Well, how about Protein Shots? !?!
...all you'll need for this one is:
1 one package of your fav jell-o mix
And that awful unflavored protein powder....make sure to add A LOT!!!! Pour the mixture into those little condiment cups. (*ya know, the ones we use for actual Jell-O shots, with the alcohol!* wink, wink!!! Refrain from using the vodka this time guys! Lol)
Let the mixture congeal and you have yourself little protein shots that you can have each day, just like your supplements! Idk what to do about the awful tasting chewable Vitamins, you'll just have to man up and take them until they're gone...or just chunk them and get more!!! Haha
Let it congeal and enjoy as much as you'd like!

Hehe' date=' funny combination. I drink coffee, with skimmed milk, every so often. As for pickles, I had a craving for that last night. I took a small bite of one and although chewing the hell out of it and it tasted amazing; it hit my stomach and my stomach gave me gas as pay back! It wasn't painful gas, I hasten to add.. but I was gassy! [/quote']Haha, my md gave me a very disapproving look and told me that I'd burn a hole in my stomach when I told him about the pickles the other day!

I mixed vanilla bean Jello pudding and my vanilla bean Protein Powder with skim milk...it's DELISH!!! Whenever I crave something sweet I eat that. So I get my sweet fix and my protein!

I do agree with the others that the squats might be too early cos my doc cleared me to do strenuous exercises after a month. By the way' date=' how are you able to do 55 squats at 5 days out and I can only do 20 at a time after 3months out? What is your starting weight?[/quote']My starting weight was 280, but I'm really dedicated ya know, not that u guys aren't! Lol, I guess my food addiction has just reversed! And I saw a squat challenge on Instagram and decided it would be good! But you guys are def right...it wasn't a good idea, I'm in no pain, but I didn't think about the incisions in my tummy!

At my five week check-up my doc told me that she wanted me to work out so hard that I was dripping in sweat and gasping for air! LOL. I hired a personal trainer' date=' and he has been happy to oblige....[/quote']I'm sure he is happy to oblige! I'll just stick with Billy Blanks for now...I can actually shut him up! Lol

Geez, I didn't even think about popping anything with the squats! I see the doc on Wednesday, so I'll stop and ask him about it then! So glad I have this outlet and you guys to ask questions! But pre-op my doc did tell me that I could ride my (stationary) bike! It just hasn't come in yet! Lol

I can only take tiny sips at a time!

I'm excited and nervous at the same time :/Congrats girly, believe me, it'll be over in no time! Just start organizing everything for the big day, that's what I did and it kept my mind off of it! Ok, just a little update! I am not 4 days post-op and feeling great!!!! I had my surgery on monday afternoon september 16, 2013. I stayed in the hospital until wednesday afternoon, that day is still felt great. I've had no real pain, at least none the pain meds can't handle, and very little nausea. Yesterday, which was the day after I left the hospital, I decided that I would not spend it in bed and my daddy and I went to Walmart (first stop, i left my debit card at home and didn't realize it until after we finished shopping. had to go home, get the card and come back to the store. TRAGEDY.!) , Kroger, and Walgreens. I felt fine the entire time. Today, I returned to school! I have found some cream Soups and broths that I like, as well as my Protein Shakes and juices. I bought the flintstones complete Multivitamins, which are disgusting might i add, but since my surgeon and dietician don't like the gummies this is what I have to take. I did buy some prenatal gummies and Biotin just to add a little extra because I am NOT excited about losing my hair, I have been growing it since birth! lol!

Sorry to hear about ur pain tho, I haven't had much at all, I guess because they put me directly on the pain meds. But hang in girly, and just remember that the journey of a thousand miles starts with a single foot step. And u will be successful, even if that foot step is gassy and painful! Lol
