    Personal trainer

I have been working out with a trainer three times a week for the last eight months. It has really helped me to tone up and get in shape. I am doing everything I can to not have to have plastic surgery. I have lost a total of 170 pounds since March of 2013. Here is a shot my wife took this morning after the shower. I think the trainer is worth every penny.

    For your consideration: dynamic stretching

Thanks for the video. The dynamic stretches are the same ones my Trainer has me do before we work out. It was nice to see that they are recommended by others. So far I haven't had any injuries so they seem to be working.
  5. Had my sleeve done on March 18th 2013. It was the best decision I have made in a long time. I have primarily followed all of the direction given me by the institute where I was a self pay client here in Newport Beach Ca. I exercise with a trainer 3 days a week and on my own two days a week. My starting weight was 398 pounds and today i weighed in at 250 lbs. 148 pounds total loss so far. I am 6'2" and am a former football player. I have now revised my goal and am shooting for 230 pounds, but it will take a while. The last scan I had showed that my lean muscle mass was 198 pounds, so I feel that 230 will be a reasonable number. I feel a lot better than I did at my highest weight and am overjoyed at my ability to play with my kids and not be sweaty and huffing and puffing. Mentally I am still having some trouble not viewing myself as fat or morbidly obese. I am attaching a photo of my chart that shows the weight loss. The chart shows the weight loss from about April. I am grateful for this site and am so happy with my progress.

    100 lbs less

You are the first time traveler I have met......lol Surgery date 12-13........
  13. I had surgery on March 18th 2013. My weight at surgeons office pre surgery was 398. As of this morning I am 297. Total loss of 101 pounds so far. I have been averaging 1200 calories a day and either walk the hills near my home or bicycle every day for anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes. I have gone from a size 54 waist to a 42. I'm super grateful for the sleeve and look forward to working towards my goal of 220. At 6'2" I feel that would be a good weight. This sleeve works if you work it!
  14. I think this would be a great thread for pictures.
  15. I was sleeved on March 18th. I am down 80 pounds. I eat an average of 1300 calories a day and exercise every day which burns off anywhere from 300 to 600 depending what I do. I still am pretty tired most days, but am hoping that will get better. Any one else feel really tired most days? I would have thought that would have stopped by now.

    popcorn.

I have only been sleeved for two months...... But eventually I hope to know everything........ Just like Melodymouse........ I have noticed that she is always right and that is what I aspire to. Thank you Melodymouse for giving me something to strive for. Your vast knowledge and complete confidence in your opinion are truly an inspiration. If I really try hard and read a lot of blogs and conspiracy sites and memorize a lot of half truths I just may make it.
  17. Im resting in the hospital. Everything went fine and i am grateful for the care I am receiving here. I am looking forward to being able to have liquids tomorrow as I am terribly thirsty. Wishing you all the best.
  18. This day of liquids only is for the birds. I am super hungry. How is everyone doing with it?
  19. I report at 5:30am.
  20. They told me that i was the first one......??? Maybe it was a sales ploy? I guess onlybtime will tell. Im not looking forward to the clear liquids only.....
  21. Yes, I am having the procedure done by the NEW Program.
  22. My date is also March 18th. I live in Newport Beach, Ca. I wish you all lots of luck. This pre surgery diet is for the birds.
