  3. My doc charges 175.00 per fill with ultrasound.
  4. This is wild I was just about to post the exact same thread. I had 4CC fill about 5 days ago and have very little restriction if any. I too have the larger band so maybe next time I'll be feeling it. I keep thinking to myself is this really going to work or am I going to be able to get around this band and keep eating as I have done in the past???
  5. 7-10 Days Or When You Feel "up" To It (men)
  6. I was banded on May 26 and experienced plenty of reflux before being banded but since my band I have had NONE-WOO HOO! For this reason alone it was worth it.
  7. I have been banded since May 26, 2005 and have no acid reflux. I had atleast once per week pain. Woo Hoo!
  8. They did not tell me I was having one but they did give me one and it was removed before I got up-TG.

People die all the time from surgery cosmetic or other but your family Doc should clear you for surgery if he thinks your ready. Don't leave it up to the surgeon alone to decide if your ready. I think any issues that have been linked to this band surgery were early on in the process 2-3 yrs ago. In short YES you can die.
  10. Maybe you stretched your pouch? If you can't stop eating then I guess you can exersise more. I found that its easier for me to work out more than it is to eat less. Keep us posted.
  11. I have liquid vitamins but have not started them mainly due to the fact that I think or thought I was getting all that I need? Maybe not? I will be adding that to my list starting tomorrow.
  12. I was banded on May 26, 2005 almost 20 days ago so I think all the drugs are worn off by now. I'm not sure about sugar levels in blood how would I check that? I will be boosting my protein the next few days and wil see how that works. Plenty of good sleep may be all that I need. THANKS FOR THE FEEDBACK KIDS.
  13. I'm not sure why but ever since my surgery I get very very tired at any given time day or night. Mostly in the afternoon but my wife thinks I'm not getting enough protein and maybe to many carbs???
  14. I agree the pain is deep and I'm very sorry for your loss of Jake. However the loss of a child is nothing compared to a dog. Not from personal experience but from what I have learned thru others. All dogs go to heaven!!!
  15. Just kidding. You thought I was that perverted? Can you Fedex them? lol
  16. Anyone know about this? http://abclocal.go.com/wls/news/061005_ns_jackson_mayor.html http://www.duodenalswitch.com/Procedure/procedure.html
  17. I read 65 somewhere??
  18. My wife is a 38 DD BMI about 27 so not a weight issue but she has said after were done with having the last child she is going for lipo on her "girls" I said sounds like a good move for you. Just another thing to consider.
  19. WOO HOO!!!!!!! Congrats to the new bandster I'm 9 days old now I'm looking forward to getting on the scale on Thursday and off the Heparin injections. Take it slow and easy for 7 days min then life will be getting much much better. Cheers!
  20. Keri for me I needed 3-4 days min before going back to work. Have ready chewable gas-x , heating pad (I skip this) and plenty of Ensure drink mix. Soup like tomato or chicken-Lipton, crystal lite will be a nice treat. By day 3 I was much better and by day 5 I was 75% recovered and today 9 days out I feel about 85%. Some pain but nothing to stop me from doing anything. Good luck you'll do fine I was told great things about you Dr. but for me Dr Rosen was near by and less money ($10,500). Cheers!
  21. My advice would be to jiggy with it. lol OK I really think you need to relax and take this slow.. There are some good books out there on this subject check around and read up first.
  22. First relax let your mind and self image catch up with your new body. Then when your feeling better go out and make some male friends and let yourself feel what ever it is you will feel. Does this make sense?
