I had surgery on April 10 with Dr Aceves in Mexicali. This is the best thing I have ever done in my life and wish I had done this a long time ago. I started at 189 day of surgery and now weigh 138. My goal weight is to be 120 by the end of the year. I really don't see that happening. My height is 5'1 so on the short side. I am wearing size small tops and size 4-6 in pants. Have been fat my whole life and the first time I can remember being this size. I have 3 sisters and all of them are skinny but I ended up getting the fat genes. Good luck to everyone.

I'm spending Labor Day weekend with DH at a lovely old restored hotel. The mirror in the room is a skinny mirror! It's slightly distorted and makes me look 5'9 and 140 lbs instead of 5'4 and 192 LOL. Gives me a glimpse of what the future holds...wish I could take it home with me, but it's screwed to the wall...heehee

I can't believe it I'm down 84 pounds!! I've got 37 more to go to be at goal

Yesterday I turned 30 years old... it's so crazy to think that at the age of 30 I am the healthiest I have EVER been. I even think back to elementary school when I was in 6th grade wearing a size 12. I am not 30 and wearing a size 11 in juniors!!! This has got to be the most unbelievable feeling. Not only do I feel amazing, but my life has had so many positive changes over the past year that at times its hard to believe that this is my new life!
My sleeve not only changed my life, but saved it! I am so grateful that I have had this opportunity.

Hello ladies!! I had my baby May 16, 2013!!! I've been consumed since she's been here!! Thank GOD we are finally sleeping through the nights now. She'll be 3 months tomorrow! I gained 12lbs during my pregnancy and I am breast feeding. I dropped 25lbs after having her. I didn't get an appetite until the last 3 months of pregnancy and it disappeared after having her. I was toooooo sleepy to eat. I'm 15 months post op and down 110lbs. It seems to be tapering off now, but I love this size!!! I went from 22/24 to 10/12 now. Baby and I are healthy!!

Thanks fiddleman!!!! Didn't wear a sari this time but it is an Indian outfit.

I haven't been on here in FOREVER but I remember pre surgery living to see everyone's before and after photos so I though I'd share. I am just about 6 months out, and down about 60-65 pounds (depending on the day, time, etc) this really was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's not always easy but it's easier than any crazy diet I've tried and failed at.
