shadowmags got a reaction from NewAshes in Extra skin... HELP
Hi all!! I'm 6 months post-op today! Down 83.5 pounds and feeling pretty great! I've even gotten off many meds I was on before for pcos, high blood pressure! Very excited about my surgery!
I am gettin to the point that I have lots of extra skin! :-( problem areas are upper arms, tummy, and boobs! I've lost a lot of my boobs sadly lol. Anyways from the start I've used lots of lotion, mostly firming. Recently, in the last month, I have really struggled with dry skin. Surgeon and pharmacist agree its a combo of the weight loss and all the Vitamins I take so I switched over to a body cream which they suggested as well as tree tea mint Shampoo (dry scalp and hair loss!). Anyways, does anyone have any helpful suggestions for helping with this loose skin? I know it's inevitable but I am in a wedding in July so it would be great if I could get some of this under control! Thanks!! :-)

shadowmags got a reaction from LisaLoseAlotx2 in Bougie size?
I'm not sure what mine was, told I was normal? Guessing that's the standard size. I'm 6 months post-op and down 80.5 pounds. I had a really rough go at first as I was very, very swollen. I can eat about 4oz at a time but it also depends on the time of day for me as well as what I'm eating. My loss has started to slow down. My dr said that is normal at this point. I struggle getting all my Protein in but I'm working on that now. I love my sleeve. It was very hard and super painful at first bc of my complications but I would never go back now!!! I have a blog too if anyone wants some more info. It's www.sleevelessnomore.blogspot.com. :-)

I would call your doc again in the morning. I would be afraid I tore sore something after so long of not getting better. If nothing else, you can find out what bug you have and get meds for it. Let us know how you are!
