  1. Hi I wanted to post this so the August ppl can log our success and weight lost so far.. My Surgery date 8/8/2013 highest weight was 220, surgery weight 213, current weight 195 All in all I've lost a total of 25 pounds and so happy I lost 7 pounds on my two week preop than the rest the first week post op.. I was stuck at 196-200 until yesterday and now I have lost another pound and that makes me happy to know that the scale started moving back the right direction again!! I would live to hear from other August sleevers
  2. Hey guys I had a really really bad day today my hubby loves sushi and so do I.. Well I've been really good at not giving in to temptations and actually feed my son with no problem but today my husband decided to buy sushi ( spicy crab rolls) I couldn't help it and gave in. But to be more exact it was wrapped with seaweed and it only had crab with avocado I'm on soft foods so I did chew really good and did not eat the seaweed either. My concern is wether wether anyone knows if its ok or not? Also I had 9 small rolls and it didn't bother me at all.. I don't want to put myself in jeopardy either.. If anyone knows please let me know thanks. I will call my nutritionist tomorrow to ask her as well
  3. OMG I'm sorry and glad u r ok.. On the other hand I haven't gone to the bathroom for two weeks and a half have tried miralax and senna 1300 but nothing :/ I feel very uncomfortable.. Any suggestions??
  4. so the first week post op I had Lost a total of 24 pounds 7 of that was pre op.. After the first week the second I weighted the same now the third week I weighted myself and I have gained about 3-4 pounds not only I'm in a stall since week one but I am gaining weight! Now I have heard about stalls but so early out is it normal? And how about the gaining? I was reading and I'm not sure why but didn't look at the failure ratio of the sleeve and its a 30%.. I'm so scared I'm in that 30%... Any reassurance guys would be great to me :,(
  5. Preop i lost 7 pounds after surgery the first week I lost 17 pounds and I'm almost three weeks out and I actually gained two pounds, I'm not freaking out but I'm a little concerned that after only one week in I stall.. Any suggestions?

  18. Exactly one Week post op today.. Thank God everything went amazing. I never took any pain meds after surgery they gave me tylenol only for the first day. My surgeon cleared me for full líquids the next day n i was realesed.. I have been trying to get my liquids n protein since, is a lil hard because I feel the restriction right away but the least protein I've gotten in is 40g n that was yesterday but working on it everyday.. Now my question is I feel so normal besides the restriction that I feel like I didn't have surgery done.. Is this normal??? And also since I've been feeling so good should I stop worrying about any future complications? Because I worry everyday of a complication.. Thank you guys in advance for your responses..
  19. Yes Thank God everyday because we breath, for this wonderful surgery, He only He makes us strong enough to keep our heads up and going.. I'm praying for no complications either so far he got me through day 1 .. Congrats to you for your success n never loose your faith
  20. I was called in a second time because I did have it, mild though.. I'm sorry but I think the second time is to measure the oxygen you might need.. It's not so bad in surgery they'll just have to be extra careful with you.. They were with me yesterday.. Maybe you should call them they will tell you why u need to come in
  21. Get Im one day post OP Also, havent tried any liquids yet my doc said i Will once Maybe 8 moré hours... I really hope i could drink water or any liquids.. So far i feel normal but i Will let u know if i have the Same sensation as u.. Good luck!
