I was 7 weeks post op on tuesday and i sometimes get a nauseous feeling an hour after i eat. Usually it just takes time and i feel better. Did your Dr give u a nausea med u can take? If so try that. Or change what your eating. Your new tummy might not like it!

I was feeling a little low about how slow my weight loss is going. This weekend it got warm here and I decided to try on some of my summer clothes....I tried on this pair of jean shorts that I couldn't even get up to see how close they were to fitting...They fit!!! I couldn't believe it!!! I wore them yesterday with no problems! I carry most of my weight in my lower stomach, so this was huge! I was doing the happy dance!!!!!

It looks like everyone is doing awesome their first month. Can you believe we did it? All those fears and sleepless nights worrying gone. I just want to say how proud I am to all the sleevers. You made the decision to change your life and you followed through. Be proud of yourselves!!!!
I did have a major scale victory today. My first life stage goal. Today I am my pre-pregnancy weight of my second son. 10lbs until my next LS goal which is my pre-pregnancy of my 1st.

Hello everyone. I had my band removed and converted to the sleeve on the 19th, so I am 11 days post-op. Everything has been pretty good for me so far for the most. Although I did sneeze like 30 minutes ago and It felt like I tore something inside, and not near the incision sights. Does anyone know if it is possible to tear the sutures and staples along the stomach by sneezing?

Well, in all fairness she did say she may be starving tomorrow! So I think she's more than open to the possibility that her mouth will be open for crow at any moment... But she's willing to do anything possible to fight it off.
I know with my first WLS I was hungry and let my food addiction get the better of me. I started looking for what "other surgeons" allowed instead of sticking to what my surgeon dictated for me. However, after failing last time, this time around I have accepted that my food addiction is just as much a problem as my inability to control portion size and I have been working with my therapist on it for a few months leading up to my revision which is still 70 days away (not that I'm counting).
I have worked on maintaining a pre-op diet that restricts things that my head would love to have or feels like I'm dying for that I know my body doesn't need to survive so that I can get through those moments that I know I've failed in the past.
The honest answer to your question is pretty much what Laura said, because again, she's pretty much a rockstar who knows it all. We are food addicts who will look for an excuse to break our diet. It's the same reason you can find a hundred threads comparing pre op diets and how fair or unfair it is! We are emotional eaters in transition.
But with all that said... Please be sensitive. It's easier for some than others. You seem to have your head in the right place. For some of us (me lol) that takes failed weight loss surgery, a divorce and remarriage to the right person, a few years of therapy, VST and the right revision surgeon to figure that all out!!
