  1. After reading this post... I won't be telling my boss! They are all health nuts in here anyways... Just telling them taking some personal time.
  2. I usually have turkey lettuce wraps. Not a egg fan myself!! Or fruit with a slice or two of turkey.
  3. Your very beautiful as well as all the women responding to this post. The reason why the surgery didn't help your relationship get better was because you weren't the person who needed to change. Surgery should of helped you with health, and feel better as a woman. Which you should because you look amazing. Again, you weren't the person who needed to change your husband was... and clearly still is!
  4. Umm your beautiful so clearly your man is an idiot! There is nothing wrong with you at all, and cheating starts with insecurities with the person who cheats... This is the problem with us as women, we blame ourselves instead of putting the blame where it belongs. My ex cheated on me, blames myself, oh I must be ugly... then I was like nope, I told myself bigger girl or smaller... I'm still hot and have a hell of a lot to offer. You should be thinking the same.
  5. I had some problems from my PCOS... I started taking Biotin has helped so much... my hair isn't thin anymore. Plus I am still Pre-op
  6. I think talking about sex is fine... as long as you are upfront and clear about your intentions.
  7. I have a bit of an opposite story, but our relationship has many problems. My ex and I split mostly for other reasons, but he did not support me wanting surgery. He basically wanted to keep me trapped in this little bubble for him and him only. I think if the relationship has problems before surgery, your eyes will open and say wow I don't need or deserve this. WLS will not fix a relationship, and I have talked to many girls believing that it will. BUT If your relationship is great, and your partner loves you the true you before WLS then it will only improve!
  8. Good luck today! Everything will be great
  9. I am having my surgery in Edison NJ. I had to use an in network dr through my insurance, Edison was the closest! I am just happy I have a dr on the list.
  10. I am not getting my surgery done until May but I am in the Yardley Langhorne Area!!!
  11. I have aetna as well, I was required only 3 months even though I have seen a nutionist in the past. You will have to go through hoops and jumps but in the end it will be worth it. As long as you stay positive the process will go by fast.
  12. I would be interested! I am still pre-op as well. Not many people know in my family that I am getting the sleeve done in May. So any support I can get and also give to anyone would be wonderful!
  13. I chose the sleeve because it just made more sense for myself and the weight I am at. Plus I didn't want to fully re-arrange my whole insides.
  14. Do you have a strong support system?
  15. I am a single mother of a 5 year old.. I have been nervous as well. I went back and forth on getting surgery for 2 years because I was worried about my daughter. Finally I told my family about my choice and they have supported me and helped through the process. It does get better and easier.
  16. I am so excited! Today I went to see my doctor, I have been accepted and received my date 05/03... Life will change completely
  17. Ahh one thing I like about myself is my boobs. I am hoping they don't go anywhere. I have always been in the 36-42 DDD range from 16 until now at 25. Maybe lose a little boob but I'm hoping not that much.
  18. Glad to hear everything is going good! Can't wait to hear how your loss is going in a few weeks.
  19. Congrats!! I can't wait till I am at that point. Keep up the good work
  20. I did this for 2 years... I went back and forth, I want this, no I want to do it on my own, I'm a single mom what if something happens I can't be selfish, What ifs, I finally said stop, I NEED to change my life, not only for myself but because my daughter is relying on me. This is not only going to benefit you, but it will benefit your wife and children so all can be fully healthy! You can do it...
  21. You can do this! Just keep reminding yourself of what your life will be like in the long run. If you put it off now and wait who is to say your not going to keep putting it off, or even not have it done at all. You were accepted now is your time to start your journey and new life. Constantly reminder yourself of every positive outcome!
  22. Wow I thought I was the only one! I was walking through the mall last night and out of know where a guy says hey your hott can I have your number?... I had a puzzled look on my face probably and was like ummm what?? I recently broke up with my ex of 9 years / daughter's father. I am only 25 so being single... and hit on, it's strange and awkward! I haven't had my surgery yet, but judging by other that have been through surgery... you will be hit on more, and men will want your number. I think once our confidence is back to where it should be... most of them time it should just put a smile on our face and we are being noticed. Last night after I was like umm what I said thanks and just kept on walking.
