Thanks Fiddleman. I plan to do a lot more hiking this summer, so I'll definitely be hitting you up for some hiking suggestions later this summer. I will not be hiking with you however. When I saw you did the Mt. Si hike in 45 minutes I figured it had to be a typo, either with the time or with the elevation/ distance of the hike. I even looked up the hike online. Then I read some of your other posts and saw your 5k and 10k times. I realized you're just a beast! Maybe next summer, but thanks for the inspiration.

Hooray! Mom and I made it home safe! We landed in Pittsburgh around 2AM and I made it home around 4:30am. Shower and then woke up around 2PM. Slept like a rock. I'm so happy to be home!

My husband said Everett had some snow We are just north of you (20 min?) and didn't get anything. We hiked around on mt Erie back in January, but nothing like what you are talking. I'll have to take my kids up there. They will love it!

All I know is when I weigh, that's it. When my wife weighs she starts substracting for any BMs she hasn't taken, anything she's had to eat or drink, excess perfume or make up she's wearing, if she's overdue for a hair cut or manicure, plus 2 screws she had put in her foot from a skiing accident 20 years ago.

I finally got ahold of Trish today and she's putting my packet together. I had a nice vacation after my last NUT appt so I didn't realize it had been 3 weeks. In the grand scheme of things what's a few more days?

Why were you denied if I might ask?
I was denied because I was a hippy in the 60's for 2 years, clean ever since. My angry surgeon sent off a fax immediately and got me approved quickly. Insurance companies worship the word no.

Stress? Nerves? Body going into shock from lack of carbs? Too much dog meat?
Relax...you're gonna do great. When you come out of surgery all these little troubles are going to disappear. You're going to have all new troubles that will make these pale in comparison.

Hey for me the big difference you can ACTUALLY see my eyes. I always thought I had ugly pig like too small eyes. i get complimented on them all the time now - turns out they were just hiding under all that fat!

So then it's permanently temporary. Kind of like when you older kids move back into your house.

I'm in Arlington. We moved here in Oct and I know no one. I have my first meeting with my surgeon this Wednesday. I'm hoping for an early April date.

The question was why did she do this and Grace mentioned that a lot of times we need talk therapy to work along with our sleeves because sometimes we bury emotions by eating. It was an answer nothing more. This was taken way off course and made into drama.
