Ok, so free or as close to free sounds wonderful to me.... especially if I am helping out others with my excess skin. I'd love to find one of these docs! Thanks for the imput, I'm a nurse so I'll start asking around!
Some doctors will do the skin removal surgery at no cost to you. They use the removed skin for skin grafts on burn patients and things like that. I've personally not looked into it yet since I was just sleeved on Dec 6th, but have been told about it multiple times. In also in DFW area.

Well, I laughed at the beginning of this when anyone mentioned plastic surgery after loosing my excess weight..... but, yeahhhhhh I'm gonna need it! Tummy is just extra skin hanging down, arms have "bat wings", and my lovely D boobies are deflated to a very small C. So, Dallas area peeps... I need some recommendations for a great plastics doc. THANKS! Stats: 5'1'' 197# starting, 188 on surgery date 1-30-13, today 127# Goal is 123#.

Doesn't this seem UNREAL???? I was sleeved Jan. 30th 2013. I was in a size 16 pant and x-lrg shirt that day. I went shopping 3 weeks ago and bought size 6, now they are falling down as I walk, so had to buy a size 4 pant this past weekend along with my size small shirt. It almost made me cry in the dressing room. What an awesome gift we have given ourselves.

I was down for about 2 1/2 weeks. Just really sore, but, I'd do it every day if I needed to. Best decision of my life!

Thank you for the kind words!! I am just under 5'7" and at Dr. Davidson's seminar' date=' my first visit with him, I weighed 228. My highest weight ever, was 232. This morning I weighed 145.5 My surgery date was June 11, 2010, I'm almost three years out. I lost 23 lbs the two months prior to surgery. I reached Dr. D's goal of 150 just under five months, and MY goal of 145 a month later. I've been in maintenence for quite a while now.
So, what's your 'story'? [/quote']
I'll be 7 weeks out tomorrow, sleeved Jan. 30 2013. My highest weight was 198, surgery day I was 188, and as of my 6 wk checkup I was down 24 lbs. I am 5'1''. I used Dr. Nicholson in Plano, his goal for me at 1 year is 123... So I have a long road ahead of me!

Buy a single bottle and try it. Doesn't taste great but I have had a lot worse. If you mix it with apple juice or gatoraide it's fine. I am drinking that as we speak/type.
What flavor? Is it unflavored?

Well I have to say I'm truely amazed at my wieght loss so far. I am 54lbs down since surgery and 77lbs since I started the pre op diet on December 28th. The first pic is 2 days post op and the second is today 2 months post op. It's a great start to my new life!!You look Awsome! And your only 2 months out, just imagine how you'll look by summer!

I am terribly nauseated every single morning since I had my surgery Jan. 30th. I had my 2 wk post op visit last week and the nurses said it was not uncommon to feel this way and that my new stomach is still figuring things out. They said at 6 weeks if I'm still sick, they will run test. I hope it goes away soon, thank goodness for Zofran! Oh, and by the way, I've never vomited. Hope you feel better soon!
