  1. Have your wedding on your 1 year sleeveversary!!!! That way you can Celebrate that day for multiple reasons! Trust me, you both will look and feel amazing when you walk down that isle! Oh, and congratulations on both your decision the sleeve and your engagement!
  2. Sure!!!! I'll start looking in about a month. I'll let everyone know what I find out.
  3. Ok, so free or as close to free sounds wonderful to me.... especially if I am helping out others with my excess skin. I'd love to find one of these docs! Thanks for the imput, I'm a nurse so I'll start asking around!
  4. Well, I laughed at the beginning of this when anyone mentioned plastic surgery after loosing my excess weight..... but, yeahhhhhh I'm gonna need it! Tummy is just extra skin hanging down, arms have "bat wings", and my lovely D boobies are deflated to a very small C. So, Dallas area peeps... I need some recommendations for a great plastics doc. THANKS! Stats: 5'1'' 197# starting, 188 on surgery date 1-30-13, today 127# Goal is 123#.
  5. Doesn't this seem UNREAL???? I was sleeved Jan. 30th 2013. I was in a size 16 pant and x-lrg shirt that day. I went shopping 3 weeks ago and bought size 6, now they are falling down as I walk, so had to buy a size 4 pant this past weekend along with my size small shirt. It almost made me cry in the dressing room. What an awesome gift we have given ourselves.
  6. Way to go!!! I'm 5 1/2 months out, and not far from my doctors goal weight! Feels great! Highest weight 197, Surgery day 188, Today(7-13-13) 138 5'1'' petite frame, Surgery on 1-30-13
  7. I was down for about 2 1/2 weeks. Just really sore, but, I'd do it every day if I needed to. Best decision of my life!
  8. You'll do great and you'll be smokin by next summer! Next year Spurs!!!!
  9. You'll do great Curvy! It's the best thing you will EVER do for yourself!
  10. I would LOVE to come to the meeting Saturday! Can you RSVP for me? I have so many questions and I love to meet fellow sleevers! And I'll check on the Baylor Plano group too, I could use all the support I can get.
  11. Easy !!! Just tell them you had a late breakfast and order a cup of soup and eat a cracker! Your friend will never know!
  12. You look Awsome! And your only 2 months out, just imagine how you'll look by summer!
  13. I am terribly nauseated every single morning since I had my surgery Jan. 30th. I had my 2 wk post op visit last week and the nurses said it was not uncommon to feel this way and that my new stomach is still figuring things out. They said at 6 weeks if I'm still sick, they will run test. I hope it goes away soon, thank goodness for Zofran! Oh, and by the way, I've never vomited. Hope you feel better soon!
