    I was having a moderate flare at the time of surgery' date=' and was sleeved on August 6. As of right now, I have very little swelling in my "bad" hand, and no aches related to my psoriatic arthritis. So thankful! Im hoping this lasts, but I'm preparing for a flare in the weeks to come. I'll see my rheum after my 2 week follow up with my surgeon. I'm not sure when I will start back on my meds.

    I also have this Type of arthritis, had surgery 6/18, was pain free till about a week or so now, so time to get back on meds but it will be injections instead of pills. Been off since may because my surgery was scheduled may 28 but got changed so ive been off a while.

    Yes, had surgery 6/18 Wasnt hurting for a good while, and was so enjoying it while it lasted..:-)...its just time to go back on so I can move like i need to again...

    Sleeved 6/18....also have been very tired and a little aditated. I have a Type of r/a arthritis been off meds prior to surgery and been in pain lately, so couldnt excercise like i wanted, could do only my Water aeróbics class lately. So I Believe this maybe the issues.. Now have approval to go back on r/a meds but as an injection to about issues with the pills for my new tummy...i know i will be back on track soon now..

    If you go on ebay or amzon and searh for childrens silverware' date=' or childerens silverware sets you can find a little more grown up verson of the toddler utensils. They are usually stainless steel and come with a fork, spoon, and knife. I found some from Oneida that actually match my 'adult' silverware, and its usually less than ten or twelve dollars for the set. I found them tonight and thought I would share. I just bought a set for my mother and me. We are both getting sleeved in september (hopefully)! Sorry I don't know how to link you to it![/quote']

    Did you check with the rheumatologist? I was told to not get back on them until the incisions had healed. He also said to check with the surgeon and see at what point the risk of infection was almost non-existent. The surgeon said to wait until 3 weeks after surgery to start them again. So worth checking with rheumy I'd say.

    Yes it the rhemy doctor changing me to shots.... had sleeve 6/18, and my first flare up since i got off meds in may due to my surgery date changed to june....but i will double check with surgeon to be sure...thx...

    I'm traveling from Texas to Ohio right now and I stopped at a convenience store and bought a turkey Swiss sandwich and ate the meat' date=' cheese, lettuce, and Tomato. I was only able to eat half of the insides.

    Breakfast I found boiled eggs at the store and watermelon.

    I love turkey Jerky pieces. I eat 8 pieces. 100 calories and no carbs!! Tons of Protein.[/quote']

    Tried turkey jerky today, it'd pretty good...what do eight pieces add up to in Protein and ounces...I'm confussed on How to measure it..:-)

    Saw my surgeon yesterday. Suggested 1 oz pickle juice twice a day. No more frothing or heart burn and zero nausea! She also scheduled upper GI to check for strictures.

    I bought Syntrax Nectar today lemon tea flavor. Can be mixed directly in 2 to 4 oz of Water and taken as a shot. I was able to tolerate that amazingly well. Will definately buy the lemonade flavor next. Being able to get Protein in basically a "shooter" is a godsend for me. I get super full on 2 oz of anything including liquid.< /p>

    Surgeon was concerned because I am in starvation mode and dehydrated again. Just so nauseated and full all the time. With the addition of Pickle Juice or even sucking on a pickle has made all the difference in the world. I didn't even bother with any nausea meds or reglan today.

    Today is my birthday and I weighed in at 197. So I made my goal. Very happy about that. I bought size 16 shorts! Was in a 22 before. Amazing! Best gift to myself ever!
