@newmommy....yes its hot and im in louisiana...i Walk in the am, then i Walk again inside the shade lines up and down my neighbor and my driveways midday.....then inside i go and around and , around my house and coffee table inside cause its hot, ..then outside evening when ir start to cool off again.....lol.....i got to get it and this works for me for now.....lol

Day 5 postop will be 52 July 28, and im doing gr8. You are beber to old to take back the control of your life. I am so ready to Live again, self-esteen is off the charts..been Puno since i meet a mini goal weight loss prior to surgery date and overall good recovery experiences. Start 349 and day of surgery 301 my goal was 300. Yeehoo!!! See doctor tomorrow will know what weigh loss then since i refuse to let a scale control me, i follow the rules, so the weigh loss will do what it do...:-)....

Day 5 postop, doing gr8, still passing gas Both ends, taking in fluids and some protein, no BM still, increasing my walking distance every other day since surgery, notice some sickness of stomach when taking crush meds only.Dont know my weight since preop surgury which was 301 start weght 349... i just refuse to let the scale rule me, i follow the rules and the weight will do what it do....,will see doctor monday will post again then..good luck to all on monday...

Day 5 preop, im up estoy as usual, but finally slept longer last Night, i giras it better as u go, or me who had problems sleeping b4 surgery was just tires and slept...lol...either way i slept....

@tyer i also have trouble sleeping but did b4 surgery to. I keep waking up...

I will try the protein popsicles

Anybody having BM issues, what u did if not...

@ Getlow....that drain plug is something else, didnt it feel write when they took it out?...i have to say i felt better after to...day 3 postout

@txbuck....se all experience so Type of gas, sick of stomach, headaches ect. Some more some less i believe its the nature of the surgery. The more u follow the rules of your doctor in preop ad ect. seems to have lesser issues, but everyone is different and u just have to pull yourself through it, its really índice each of us to do out journeys. You will do the same, u will find what strenght you have thats been burden for so Long and push though it all and help another do the same. Im 3 days preop, doing good. Spirits Hugh and ready for the next phase of my jouney. Praying for u, u got this....:-)

Big teddie. You will be Fine, just take one day at a time and remember u can do this. Use this sure for a support system and so much information, i find it so helpful....day 3 postop doing Fine, it here better each day...

Ive been eatting on crush ice in sonic routé 44 cups with a spoon thoughtout the day, really helps me get my water in, plus the other types i do popsciles, broth, jello, crystal light...

Yes indeed a weird feeling when it they take it out...my gas pains got a little better i think once it was out...im doing ok, getting fluids in and keeping, i have route 44 sonic cups with crush ice and i spoon on it all day plus what ever other fluids i can get in...

Day 3 postop, feeling much better, gas releasing Both ends now....lol....having troubling staying asleep anyone else having this issues?...been up since 2:30am. Slippin, reading,walking and drinking chicken broth...

Well on clear liquids to day, tomorrow i start 8oz protein shakes with 1percent Milk i can have 6oz yogart and 4oz pueree fruits....im starting with 4oz first...and of course fluids daily...
