- I killed it today!
Yeah, Famous Dave's is pretty good stuff. They serve one of their "feast" meals, that feeds 5-6 people, on a trash can lid. How can you not love a restaurant that serves food on a trash can lid?!?!- I killed it today!
I almost talked myself out of Zumba...I was so tired and I had already worked out at lunch! Glad I didn't, though. I felt so much better after! Zumba is a fun way to work out! Especial with friends! Thanks for all the encouragement!- I regret..!

Love me some Zumba!- Relationship issues after surgery?
I think the fact that you are already aware that WLS is hard on relationships will help preserve your relationship. I was watching lifetime one night and there was a show on called Unfaithful, I think. Or maybe it was on OWN. Anyways, this show told the story of this girl who had gastric bypass. She gained a lot of confidence, and then started cheating on her husband. The show flashed a statistic that said 80% of all WLS patients who were married at the time if surgery, will get a divorce. It freaked me out. I decided then and there I would do everything to preserve my marriage. I know I am physically and emotionally changing. But my husband is, too. I expect him to be kind and supportive of everything I am going through, so I should absolutely be the same to him. I have seen so many friends lose weight, and all of a sudden think they are too good for their spouse. I just don't get that. This man loved me and made me feel beautiful at my heaviest. How could I ever outgrow him?!?! So again..,I think the fact that you already place such a high importance on your relationship will help carry you through!- catheter?
Don't let it freak you out! Usually if they need to cath you for surgery, they do it when you are asleep.- Bacon!
Ha!!! I know exactly what you mean.- Where did you notice the weight loss first?
I will trade you some hips and ass for some of your thigh loss!!!- Frozen Yogurt Six days out?
I know!!! You would have thought she would have been asking if it was ok to eat her pets!!!- Where did you notice the weight loss first?
Mine came off my face and stomach initially. Wishing my thighs would catch up! Although I am happy, because I don't have a saggy chin and I lost so much off my face!- Frozen Yogurt Six days out?
I ate Orange Leaf within the first couple of weeks. I was having a hard time getting anything down one day and we went into town for something (I live in the country)...so we stopped there and I got some NSA. I got down maybe 2 tablespoons. I didn't get sick and even felt a little better with something in my stomach. That was the only time I did it.- Bacon!
Me too! I sat at dinners out several times on the liquid phase of my diet without issue. And after I watch other people pig out and eat a massive plate of food...what did I miss? Being miserable and bloated??- How did they close you?

- HAVING MY SURGERY ON MARCH 19TH. I JUST HAD A QUESTION ...WHY DO PEOPLE GET DEHYDRATED AFTER SURGERY CAN THEY NOT DRINK FLUIDS? AREN'T THEY THIRSTY?
I would say it is likely because they struggle to get their fluids in. After surgery there are several things you have to deal with. 1. Nausea. 2. Fear 3. Restriction. I personally was scared to drink anything because of the nausea. So I had a hard time the first couple of days! - I killed it today!
