  1. Well..that is one definition of self love! Speaking of love...I have an Australian love! His name is Tonka and he is a sugar glider. Best friend a girl could ask for!
  2. What were the other two? My favorite American chain is "Texas Roadhouse!" Yum!!! We do a lot of smoking meat around here.
  3. Yeah, Famous Dave's is pretty good stuff. They serve one of their "feast" meals, that feeds 5-6 people, on a trash can lid. How can you not love a restaurant that serves food on a trash can lid?!?!
  4. I almost talked myself out of Zumba...I was so tired and I had already worked out at lunch! Glad I didn't, though. I felt so much better after! Zumba is a fun way to work out! Especial with friends! Thanks for all the encouragement!
  5. It will be worth it! Remember what you just did to your body! It just takes some time!
  6. I worked twice today - once Zumba for an hour! And right now, I am at Famous Dave's BBQ and I ate totally healthy and Just the right amount! And I don't feel cheated...I feel strong and powerful!
  7. Oh...how can anyone rate Laura-Ven a 1-star? They must have thought 1 star was the best!
  8. Ain't that the truth! Although I am not sure if you mean your bank account is better off or worse. Ours is better off...my husband and I were eating out all the time!! It is crazy how much we are saving now!
  9. Crazy! Wishing the best! Keep us posted love!
  10. Love me some Zumba!
  11. I think the fact that you are already aware that WLS is hard on relationships will help preserve your relationship. I was watching lifetime one night and there was a show on called Unfaithful, I think. Or maybe it was on OWN. Anyways, this show told the story of this girl who had gastric bypass. She gained a lot of confidence, and then started cheating on her husband. The show flashed a statistic that said 80% of all WLS patients who were married at the time if surgery, will get a divorce. It freaked me out. I decided then and there I would do everything to preserve my marriage. I know I am physically and emotionally changing. But my husband is, too. I expect him to be kind and supportive of everything I am going through, so I should absolutely be the same to him. I have seen so many friends lose weight, and all of a sudden think they are too good for their spouse. I just don't get that. This man loved me and made me feel beautiful at my heaviest. How could I ever outgrow him?!?! So again..,I think the fact that you already place such a high importance on your relationship will help carry you through!
  12. Don't let it freak you out! Usually if they need to cath you for surgery, they do it when you are asleep.
  13. Ha!!! I know exactly what you mean.
  14. I will trade you some hips and ass for some of your thigh loss!!!
  15. I know!!! You would have thought she would have been asking if it was ok to eat her pets!!!
  16. Mine came off my face and stomach initially. Wishing my thighs would catch up! Although I am happy, because I don't have a saggy chin and I lost so much off my face!
  17. I ate Orange Leaf within the first couple of weeks. I was having a hard time getting anything down one day and we went into town for something (I live in the country)...so we stopped there and I got some NSA. I got down maybe 2 tablespoons. I didn't get sick and even felt a little better with something in my stomach. That was the only time I did it.
  18. Me too! I sat at dinners out several times on the liquid phase of my diet without issue. And after I watch other people pig out and eat a massive plate of food...what did I miss? Being miserable and bloated??
  19. I would say it is likely because they struggle to get their fluids in. After surgery there are several things you have to deal with. 1. Nausea. 2. Fear 3. Restriction. I personally was scared to drink anything because of the nausea. So I had a hard time the first couple of days!
