Contact sports after Sleeve and excess skin

I was sleeved in January and now I am training in pro wrestling. A lot of contact and my sleeve is doing great. I would say give it a couple months before doing full contact. I have lost 178 pounds and am dealing with the excess skin. It's tough but just keeping working out.

    Pro Wrestling?

Well I started wrestling training last night. I was a little nervous how I was going to feel, but everything went great! I'm extremely sore today but other then that in good shape!

    Eating is complicated @4 weeks

Hello. The reason we are told to eat slow is because it takes our stomach some time to tell our brain that we are full. In that time it's easy to shovel food in and then we would be overfull and very sick. (I'm guilty of this. More then once.)

    When can i eat?

I know after the first few days I experimented and I doubt I'm the only one. I know one time I tried to eat hamburger when I was in stage 2 and paid the price!

    So many questions.....

Just take things 1 day at a time. I went into my surgery thinking I was going to be down 100 pounds after a month. (I was pretty disappointed.) It's a process and an early stall is most likely due to your body needing to catch up. I would still take the chewable vitamins because you stomach is still healing and will have a big problem breaking down solid pills. Just do your best and try to rest.

    Pro Wrestling?

Just curious if anyone here trained in pro wrestling after vst? I trained on and off for a few years and loved it but couldn't control my weight. Now I am 6 months post op and down 150 pounds so I want to train again. Just looking for anyone else's experience.

    Energy to work out..

I know for me when I take a rest day I feel like a lazy slob and I worry that I will fall back into old habits, but I just try to set up my next days workout and stick to it.

    Energy to work out..

your body may just need a rest. Take a day off from working out and give yourself a chance for your muscles to repair. Keep watching what you eat though.

Sleeve or Plication? Scared to death and nervous.

I have never heard of plication before but I just look at it like this. Why just fold your stomach and let it sit there? Cut that out and lose a couple pounds!
  14. I was like that in the beginning. I was sleeved on January 14th. To me if I couldn't eat what I wanted I didn't want to eat. It does get easier once you get passed stages 1 and 2 though. Now I can eat pretty much whatever, just in small amounts.
