im scheduled for the 26th. Im getting nervous, but mostly im worried about not being able to drink very much. Im a gulper. I love to guzzle down a huge glass of ice water!!!! ugggg. is it worth it?

Mi Doctor has safes in the rooms, I was able to fit my kindle fire hd, wallet,phone and other personal things in it, with room to spare.

I had read that for every 10 pounds lost you gain an inch in length I was looking forward to adding over 10 inches since I lost 105 pounds but you won't believe this but it did not happen. LOL

I still gulp and have had no bad things. It just happens, not necessarily intentional. I don't get any gas or burping from it, any extra than pre surgery that is. I just can't drink as much as I used to at a time.

I can't believe the time is so near. It is incredible how quickly the time has passed. I started looking into WLS 3 months ago and it's already here. Monday is the day. I'm anxious but mostly so excited. I just want to congratulate everyone that has already gotten their sleeves and wish everyone luck who is going to be getting it. LETS DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!! (: (: (:

I'm the day after you. Can't wait and also so anxious! It's going to be worth it, tho. To get off any meds you might be on and to feel healthy will be awesome! I'm also doing it for my kids. They have no idea that mom is having surgery. I just want them those what eating healthy can do. 2 of them are almost teens and starting puberty and its such a crucial time with weight gain at that point. I want to lead by example. I'm so looking forward to the future for al of us. Luckily my children are all trim and healthy, but my poor daughter is beginning to struggle and is giving in to the bad stuff behind my back hopefully watching mom make wise decisions will help her. . Good luck on your journey!
