  1. Mine is 2 weeks of liquids mainly non caloric intake unless I'm shaky or weak. If so then I can have a protein shake. Then 2 weeks of soft.
  2. I was sleeved on the 12th and for 2 weeks I am to focus on 64+ ounces of non caloric liquids. Only adding protein if I feel weak or shaky. I've not really been hungry but did notice the muscle weakness an shakiness the past 2 days. I'm counting down to next Tuesday and a scrambled egg
  3. Each surgeon is different. I didn't require a bowel prep and was only on clear liquids the day before surgery.
  4. Welcome Annie! Glad you found us and good luck with your journey!!
  5. My only restriction with driving was not to if I was taking the pain medication. As for the 2 hour show I would say it depends on you feel and if you decide to do it I would make sure you get up and move around a few times during the showing to help prevent blood clots. Good luck with your surgery
  6. I'm a week out but have found that hot tea works better for me at this point. It sucks cause I loved water before surgery, I'm hoping I will get that back. But I'm able to get in my 64oz easily at this point with different flavors of hot tea.
  7. Sleeved on the 12th.Slept through the night for the first time since surgery. Feeling good. 1 more week of liquid then I will progress to soft. Going back to work tomorrow. And oh yeah.....Down 9lbs since surgery
  8. I gained 8lbs after surgery. Check in wt: 254. Weight the evening is surgery: 262. Current wt: 245
  9. Good luck, it will be great. I was sleeved last Tuesday I packed comfy clothes and slippers for walking in the hallway.
  10. Welcome to the group and congrats on your weight loss
  11. Good Luck to all those being sleeved this week!!
  12. That's great. So glad things worked out so well for you! Thanks for sharing your story
  13. I was sleeved on the 12th. I was STARVING going in to surgery. I can honestly say after surgery I had no hunger or desire to eat until today. Today has been the first day I feel hungry but it's nothing compared to before surgery. You will do great. Good Luck
  14. I am 5 days post op. I'm not going to lie, today is a tough one for me. I've woken up weak with very little energy and VERY Grouchy!! My post op diet instructions were to focus on my 64+ ounces of fluid and take protein only if feeling weak or hungry. I've had no hunger/weakness until today and it's really setting in. I drank some protein enriched hot cocoa today that has helped some and still plugging away at my liquids..... The plus side is I've lost 8lbs since surgery Thanks for letting me vent.....
  15. I tried cold water the first few days but learned I can get hot tea down a lot easier.
  16. I gained 8lbs after surgery. Was 254 when I checked in. That evening I was 262. I weighed this morning and am down to 252.
  17. I was sleeved on the 12th as well. I broke down and weighed today. Down 10lbs
