  19. I told my family today that I'm having surgery on May 21. Although initially supportive, my mother has apparently done some "reading" and wonders why I'm not having lap band instead. Is there any info out there that I can share with her?

  21. Both insurances (Federal BCBS and MassHealth) have approved me and my surgery is scheduled for May 21! Now I am freaking out! An absolute bundle of nerves. I still need to tell people (the only person who knows is my boyfriend)! I need to tell my family but don't know when. Friday is my sister's graduation and Sunday is Mother's Day. I don't want to steal anyone's deserved attention. Do I tell them now or wait until next week? Help!!!
  22. My surgeon is Dr Partridge at Newton Wellesley Hospital -- so far she has been great!!
