If i am using my email used with Facebook how is it private from my reg Facebook page?

It's a separate group that shows up under the "Groups" section when you're logged into your facebook. It's separate from your newsfeed and personal facebook profile. None of your family and friends can see it. Only members of the group can see it. And, in order to be a member, you have to be added by a moderator. Because it is a "Secret" group, it doesn't show up in any searches. No one can see anything unless they are in the group. Most of our members are keeping their surgeries secret from the majority of their family & friends. It's a totally safe support group.

My surgery will be April 11, 2013 in Tijuana, MX. Anyone else heading to Jerusalem Hospital for 04/11/13 surgery?

It is indeed a private group. No one on your facebook friend's list will be able to see anything. I'm not telling people about my surgery either, so I understand the importance of privacy. The group settings are set to "Secret" so no one can see it, see members in it or any of the posts unless they are a member themself. If you send me your e-mail address associated with your Facebook account, I will be happy to send you an invitation.

I have severe GERD. Both my pcp and surgeon have told me that 90% of patients with reflux have it resolved after the sleeve, but that there is a 5% chance it'll get worse and a 5% chance that it'll get better but not completely go away. I figure a 95% chance of improvement is better than nothing at all, especially if the GERD is caused from being overweight to begin with.

After denied and becoming frustrated I got my date yesterday. . Met with the surgeon and pre registered at the hospital. Was hoping for next week but after looking at calender and seeing the kids will be out first week of april for spring break I picked the 8th the day they go back so I can test as much as possible, to return to work.. cant wait. .
