  1. I'm in Aliante. I go to Umbachs meetings a few times a month & that's in Henderson.
  2. Hi AnnaLV, I'm here in Vegas & I've been looking for a support group! Does Dr. Hanna have monthly support group meetings? What side of town are you on?
  3. Congrats, you look great!
  4. You look amazing! Thanks for sharing!
  5. I'm 17 weeks out & I usually can only eat between 500-700. I'm very impressed with the 900 calories!
  6. Thanks girls! Madam Reverie, PPI is now your new BFF! Which one are you on? ElyQuint, I will post on FB tomorrow. Please ask your doctor for something stronger to go with the Pepcid....NO BUENO! XOXO
  7. UH OH, Madam Reverie! Are you currently on a PPI? I will be getting my tonsils taken out tomorrow so, I will be forced to liquids & very bland foods for quite some time......This may be a very good thing!
  8. I went to the ER yesterday, I had massive burning in my chest & my stomach was achy. Blood work came back fine & they had me drink a GI cocktail & they put some Reglan & pain killer in my IV......lo & behold, my lump in the throat went away for the 5hrs I was there! My lump is definitely heartburn/reflux related & it totally sucks!
  9. Hi all, I'm almost 4 months out & my new tummy is still achy & tender. Not too sure if this is normal? Also I've been having really bad heartburn & it's going up in my throat. I'm on Prilosec twice a day & it helps but it's still there. I don't have a fever but I do have a headache & my stomach is distended. Still can't get ahold of anyone from my surgeons office! Anyone else experience the achy tummy or this crazy heartburn? Thank you!
  10. I'm happy to say this is about half of what usually has been coming out! It DOES get better.....today is going to be a great day! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  11. I knew it was inevitable however, it didn't stop me!
  12. I love that stuff! My hair & skin feel a lot better & not so dry!
  13. Not everyone loses their hair. Unfortunately, I'm losing chunks of hair! I have been taking Biotin & hair Vitamins for awhile. I started losing it at 2.5 months & for me it's getting worse. People say don't sweat the small stuff it will grow back.... My hair is very fine to begin with. Left side is what came out straight out of the shower & the right side is what came out when I combed it. Again, not everyone loses hair. Keep up with your Protein & supplements!
  14. So far for me, the allergy pill has done nothing! And my voice IS changing! :(
  15. I was so scared in the beginning as well.....I'm 3.5 months out & I'm eating like a champ! I had 2 different salads today one with salmon & one with chicken. It will get easier and better each & everyday! Remember to eat very slow, take small bites & chew very well, you got this!
  16. I'm seeing an ENT this friday, I sure hope he can help & shed some light!
  17. ElyQuint, did you check out the link?
  18. You know I already take 50 pills a day......what's 1-4 tums gonna hurt? LMAO!
  19. Maybe I need to change my PPI? Check out this link: http://www.doctoroz....-lump-my-throat
  20. I was thinking the same damn thing!
