Hi, They gave me a cocktail in my IV & also to drink. Ask your dr. about Carafate & Reglan.

Hi Boogiebabe, I was on Prilosec 2x a day as well & I still had the burning sensation & ended up in the ER. I'm on Protonix 1x a day now & may need to take 2.. I see my PCP this week & my surgeon for my 6 month next week. I'll let you know what they say. Do you take carafate? I believe the Protonix is working a little better for me.

WOW & thank you LL for posting this! This has truly been a trippy experience for me, my brain has yet to catch up with my body. I have lost 67lbs & can't really see it even when I put on smaller clothes!? It's like I'm looking in a Funhouse mirror & all I see is my big self!
