Good luck! I am here in Las Vegas, too. I am scheduled Friday.

My surgery is not until next week, but I start my 2 day journey tomorrow night!!!

What kind of chewables are you using that taste so great? I have a problem with the Vitamin taste...

PepperPaul, I am on Liquid for breakfast and lunch. Then for dinner a Lean & Green meal consists on a Lean piece of protien and Green Vegetables including salad with No Fat dressing.

I am on 2 liquid and 1 Lean and Green meal for dinner.

5 days into my pre op and I actually feel Great!!

We also have another thread "Any March Sleevers". One of our sleevers has made a calendar with all of our names so we can keep track of everyones surgery dates. If you post there he will add you to the list. Check it out!

My new favorite appliance....Electric Pressure Cooker. You can cook anything in it and it only takes a few minutes. Did pork chops last night in 10 minutes. And since you cook with a little fluid the meat is really tender!!

I ordered compression socks from Amazon. They were alot less expensive. I think $11.50 a pair???

Hi, I am starting day 4! I know what you mean. I stepped on the scale this morning and I have lost 7 lbs!!!!!

Sumsuz68, Thanks for your input! We have the same surgeon and they have not been very responsive when I have inquired on certain topics. Have you had that same experience? I guess I need to call them on Monday morning and get some more information. I have kind of been winging it. The information I get off of this forum has helped alot!

Peacockmama...Thanks so much for your ideas!! I do cook quite a bit, but my brain seem's to have blocked out anything healthy!!!

Just starting day 3 of my pre op diet. So far so good. For those of you that are allowed a Lean and Green meal, I need some ideas. What is everybody eating? My doctors office didn't give me any rules for these meals!!!!! So far I have been eating chicken breasts and salads....

Sometime it pays to buy the ticket and if you need to change the date pay the change fee. Sometimes it can be less than the higher price of the ticket. I know all about high ticket prices. I am flying 7000 miles each way on an airline that has the monopoly in my neck of the woods!! Damn you United!!!!
