  1. I'm glad I can be inspiration! I still have a ways to go, but I'm so much healthier now. Good luck on getting a surgery date!
  2. I was told no gummies until 3 months out. Chewables only until then per my surgeon.
  3. I felt much more normal after 2-3 weeks.
  4. Oh man. I can't do a push-up yet. I"ll keep trying!
  5. Are you mentally prepared? Have you done your homework? I would urge you to make sure you're ready.
  6. Thanks for posting these pictures. It's so helpful to actually see them! I wish there was a way for me to have a reduction/lift done without it impacting my ability to breastfeed. My breasts are so flat and low I think it will make it hard to breastfeed. I don't really care about them not being firm, but positioning will be difficult.
  7. My goal is 180, but I'm also 5'10", so I'm not sure what BMI you're starting at.
  8. Great job! You can definitely see the difference!
  9. Self-salting slugs would seem so sad.
  10. It actually sounds like your body could use MORE calories for the exercise you're doing. You're in the anorexic range for what your body needs. You won't loose weight if your body is in survival mode. I bet if you increase your calories and dietary fat a little the weight will start to come off again. Good luck!
  11. You could try black tea if you're still looking for caffeine. I find it tasty.
  12. Different things work for different people. When I don't see the number move for a few days, It reminds me to stay on course, or get back on track. That method doesn't work for everyone, but for me... I need a scale.
  13. Yep, that took a while for me to re-learn that muscle memory for drinking the way I can now.
  14. Check the common ingredients. Maybe there is something in them? Have you tried pure Whey Protein Isolate with no mixers or added ingredients?
  15. I feel like strangers are nicer to me than they used to, and I'm still obese. No one has been cruel to me, but I definitely feel like people interact with me differently. Heck, I probably interact with them differently too.
  16. I really like the texture of tofu. It's firm, but smooth and soft. Contradictory? Yes. I really like it pressed, sliced into 1/2" slices, and marinated in soy sauce, garlic, and hot pepper flakes, and then pan fried until it becomes darkened. Then top it with a little reduced marinade mixed with orange juice, a little brown sugar (or honey or agave), and grated ginger. Yummy! You can also lightly coat it with corn starch before putting it in the frying pan to give it a bit of a crust when it cooks.
  17. I'm eating bars from Aldi's with 10g protein, 180 calories, but I think I'm going to stop eating them. I think I'm using them as an excuse to snack and not feel as bad about it, but they don't do as much for me as they should.
  18. Sorry, I don't use MFP! I hope you'll find some buddies here, though!
