  1. And I feel the same way about food too. I'm always hungry and obsessed with food too lol. Just watch your portions and calorie intake and you should be fine.
  2. Yes try some scrambled eggs. I did before I was supposed to. Just make sure you chew it well before swallowing. And take teeny tiny bites to make sure you can handle it. Eat it very slowly and you should be fine

    Completely frustrated.

I feel like my sleeve is too big too. I can eat 1/2 cup of food and could eat more but I stop myself there. I sure hope this surgery will work for me. I was sleeved on 1/21/13. I'm also hungry all the time

    Endoscopy

I was VERY nervous of this too. Previous to the endo I never had any surgery of any kind. It's a very easy procedure and they medicate you so you don't remember much or even care. You will be just fine....I promise!!

    Beginning Again

I hear ppl talk a lot about isopure on here. Is it calories free? Where can I find it?
  8. Wow this is me too! I wish I was one of those ppl who lost their appetite and it never returned. And I worry that my sleeve won't work either. I am making good protein choices but I think I'm eating too many times during the day 6-8 times. Well I will find out Thursday if I lost any weight in a weeks time.

    Help!

The pain meds made me have a lot of nausea. Once I stopped taking them I felt way better. It could be just that. Ask for a motion sickness patch to put behind your ear. That helped me too.

    Very hungry

I'm 2 weeks out and I'm hungry all the time. I have been eating every 2-3 hours but very small portions to keep me satisfied. I hope this hunger thing gets better!!
  12. So I've been reading quite a bit of stories on here and noticed some of you still drink coffee. I was told coffee is a no no so I'm confused. Believe me...I would love my usual morning cup like old times. What are your thoughts on this?
  13. Nevermind I think I figured it out
  14. Great job!!!! I'm still struggling with my liquid intake....But I'm eating fine go figure lol. I'm 2 weeks post op today Not to change the subject but how do I get that weight chart thing some of you have on the bottom of your posts? I'm pretty new to this website and can't figure it out!

I barely got through day one...pre-op

The ore op diet was the hardest part for me. I felt so out of control I was so hungry all the time. I think I only lost 7lbs before my surgery and my nutritionist kept warning me they may have to reschedule if I didn't get my act together lol. My Surgeon said I needed to loose 20 lbs before surgery. Well I sure didn't make it to 20. The 2 day colon cleanse really helped me loose weight 2 days before surgery. I feel for ya....it sucks but hang in there. You can do it!!!!!

    Is it too soon?

I say go! I was sleeved on 1/21/13 and returned to work on 1/30/13. Just take it easy and don't be screaming and jumping around and u should be fine. Good luck and have fun!!
  19. I feel the same way. I can eat a lot too. I think we all have different hunger and capacities after we are sleeved. I would love to be one of those people that is never hungry and who can hardly get 1 egg down. I sometimes feel as though I wasn't sleeved either. If I really wanted to I could eat horrible fatty foods and gain weight too. I'm just choosing not too. I didn't eat anything more than a few sips of broth in the hospital but by the 5th day I was really hungy all the time and still am. I'm 2 weeks out only. I do understand the people who say they are not satisfied with only 4 oz of food but I stop myself at 4oz so I don't gain weight.

    Feeling full/satisfied

Hi everyone. I was sleeved on 01/21/13 and am just curious as to how much everyone is eating for each meal to feel satisfied. I'm working on eating every 2-3 hours about 2 ounces per meal. What about everyone else? I was feeling hungry all the time but now that I spread out my meals I'm feeling a bit more satisfied.
