    Not A Magic Cure--Am I Alone?

I am a slow "looser" as well ( 1#/wk) but whwn I get discouraged or anxious, I try to think of the many yrs that it took me to get those dreadful pounds and also I know that my body needs to adjust to the weight loss. Loosing 1 pound/week takes soem careful planning, consider hidrating your skin to adjust to the change, condition your muscles and bones to support your new shape and concentrate on changing "those habits", honestly, once you divert you focus on making these "lifestyle adjustments" you will find it easier to wait for the pounds to come off. Don't get me wrong, I have not nailed it yet but I do refocus everytime my wt scale OCD kicks in! Letty
  2. Hi Weewers: I would wish you good luck but luck doesnt have much to do with your success. I had my sleeve on Nov 15th 2012 and lost 55 pounds since. My wt loss goal is 70 lbs and I am very happy with the results so far. Easy does it specially after 50, ( which I am ). Be ready to finally change those former lifelong "habits" , don't worry, with the help of the surgery tool, it does becomes achievable. More than anything, loving yourself will become easier with each milestone.... Letty
