  1. Hi everyone. Haven't posted in a while. My surgery was on 2/18. I started process at 314, 307 on surgery day, and as of Sunday was 258. 56 pounds all together!! Woohooo! My clothes are swimming on me, I've been able to get into old clothes that have been hanging in my closet for several years not being worn. I have more energy. I'm working out and getting stronger. In addition to my full-time job, i'm also working part-time at Uhaul. Great exercise - girl of 5'3" climbing in and out of all those big trucks all day My boyfriend said he can tell my weight loss by how my towel wraps around me now - no gap The best part is I'll work out until my legs feel like jelly and want to crawl into bed. But I wake up the next day with no pain! It's no longer taking me a week to recover from one workout! Still a long way from my goal, but I actually feel like it's attainable. Even my shoes fit better. I wore heels yesterday for the first time in a long while and my feet didn't hurt!
  2. I was sleeved on 2/18 Starting weight at initial consulation - 323 "Official pre-op" weight - 314 Surgery Day 306 Today 284.4 Total lost so far 38.6 The past week/week and a half though, only los about 4 oz!
  3. How dare you feel good!!!!! Everyone heals differently.I'm glad you're feeling well post op. I had a liver biopsy done during surgery as well. Wonder if some of my pain is that too?? Doc assured me my surgery went just fine though, nothing unusual, no complications.
  4. I'll try that fire the gas pains...thanks
  5. I did try hot tea. Felt good at first, but few minutes later started to hiccup (which hurts like hell) and then i felt sick. I just got off phone with doc & he said most important thing at this stage is hydration, pain control and nausea control. If it takes me longer to progress to full bariatric liquids that's ok. I guess a but of depression it's setting in. Just cried for 10minutes wondering what the hell i got myself into and feeling like a freak reading how well others have been doing post op. I know it'll be worth it in the long run, just hard to see past today.
  6. My surgery was also on the 18th. I came home last night. I am still feeling miserable.I haven't been able to drink more than one bottle of water (16.9 oz) today. Keep getting nauseous. In between naps i am walking around. Anyone else with similar problems? Any suggestions?
  7. Mine was on the 18th. Home last night. Pain getting slightly better, but still a lot there.
