  1. Love your pic! I get on my motorcycle and rock out demon hunter when I ride! )
  2. Love this! That's a great movie. Running is on my list also. I want to wear cute Nike shirts and race around the track. I wonder if I can have one made that says "I ran from my fat" lol.
  3. Wow. I'm glad your so perfect tlah. We should all learn from your perfect wisdom...and yes I'm being sarcastic. I slipped once in my 20 day liquid preop but guess what, I picked myself up, learned from my mistake and kept going. I've stuck to it and have been sussessful since. This isn't an overnight change...I'm magically a different person! It takes hard work, dedication, and educating yourself on better choices so you can become better yourself. It's a process of change!
  4. So does UPS deliver those?
  5. I saw that pretty rainbow layered jello cake too but it was filled with shots of alcohol lol
  6. I guess I'm lucky cause I've yet to have anything come back up for a visit. Now that I say that the shrimp I just ate will probably come say hey lol
  7. So where does everybody buy theirs at? I get mine at HEB since Walmart and Albertson's doesn't carry it here. My mom can't find it back home so I have two bottles in the fridge to take her next weekend when I go. Both of my parents are dieting with me which is awesome. My dad has kept up with me lb for lb and I'm the one who had the surgery! lol I also get the baby carrots from Bolthouse. Their really tiny baby carrots and come in 4, 2 oz bags. I pour a tsp of the ranch and the little bag of carrots are a perfect portion snack on a day I've rocked all my Protein
  8. I love this stuff. The salsa ranch is my fav..I put a tad to dip my chicken breast in...yummy yumm!
  9. I mix a cup of coffee with my chocolate protein drink over ice with a Splenda every morning and I'm fine. now, with that said, the caffine in it doesn't bother me. but, dark ice tea makes my sleeve feel weird. if its dark I dilute it and then its fine. only thing I can figure out is the caffine content. everyone is gonna be different.
  10. I hate it when drs blame everything on your weight!! I have that rubberband snapping feeling when mine is acting up. it's always at night or when I've been sitting in one position for a long time. I will roll over in my sleep at night and will wake me right up with the pain in my thigh. a good chiro can really help relieve the pain of sciatica. a tens unit will help even more. best 50 bucks I've spent!
  11. Traveling is so different now because I don't want to get stuck out with nothing to chooses from but a convenience store! I usually pack some nacho cheese or carmel mini rice cakes for crunch, applesauce, fruit cups, string cheese, roast beef or ham slices (rolled up), waters, crystal light, and my choco premier protein with some single serve folgers coffee packets to make my mochas
  12. Amen! I never can get warm now lol
  13. That's funny it blocked puss y. I meant like puss not, well lol
  14. Mine got ***** once but then the stitch popped out right after lol...each day a little more would worm itself out till the whole string came out. Only one my body rejected!
  15. It does get better. Strive for a bit more each day and soon you will be there. 8 weeks out I still struggle to get the full 64 so don't let it get you down. Congrats on the weight loss!
  16. I remember mine doing that the first few days out. Nothing to drink/eat 24 before...first meal of ice 24 later...then sipping water...it was like my intestines went huh? What going on? Gurgle gurgle bubble bubble lol
  17. I hit my 50 lb mark yesterday and treated myself to a new purse and wallet
  18. So proud of myself! I am 8 weeks post-op and 50 lbs gone. It just keeps getting better!
  19. Ha! I was just thinking about this. I ate a chicken fajita sausage for dinner and then about 1/2 cup of watermelon. It breaks down basically water so I was thinking maybe that's a no no with protein lol.
  20. I mixed mine with a like flavored G2, 1/2 and 1/2 that first week. they weren't my favorite but were expensive so I was going to drink them lol
  21. I used dr. sergio verboonen. I can understand the sweet thing. I eat 6 of the Quaker carmel mini rice cakes if I want something sweet plus it has crunch and at least whole grain. I get tired of the chocolate shakes so I mix mine with coffee, a splash of Toriani vanilla bean SF syrup and a Splenda over ice. It's yummy lol. That's great that you got more Protein in. A couple more g's or oz of fluids today, a few more tomorrow, and before you know it your there. If you don't have a good day, focus on what you did wrong today and try to change what you do tomorrow. Bad days happen! Just pick up and keep going. Today has been a bad one for me. I've only had 41 g's protein and 269 calories. I've got a horrible cold and trying to keep fluids going although I have had a few bites of chicken and black Beans. Doing the best I can today and tomorrow hopefully I will feel better and get back on track!
  22. I am using my fitness pal. I shoot for 800 a day. Most days I get around 600 ish because I get busy and forget my snacks. With me, the more I eat the more I lose. I was a total carb nazi when I started, but I started adding whole grains and some fruit and it broke my two week stall. I've broke 1000 twice but it was my TOM and it was like I couldn't get enough to eat lol.
  23. Remember to do the best YOU can do each day and don't compare yourself to others...cause were all different! A month from now you will look back on the first week and think, well that was easy!
