Very frustrating! I just need to vent. I'm 6 weeks out and down 22 pounds. I'm so grateful but the scale hasn't moved in 2 weeks. I just started back at the gym 2 weeks ago 3 days and week and walking everyday. I track everything on lose it. I'm getting in at least 64 oz of water and my recommended protein, carbs, and fat. Super frustrated!!!

I cried when my surgeon came in right before they wheeled me back for surgery. His kind words and reassurance put me at a little more ease. Realizing my journey so far and realizing I trusted myself to make the right decision got me through. I wish you strength in yourself

32 y/o from nj. Being sleeved in Philadelphia Tuesday! I can't believe it. The excitement and nervousness is overwhelming. I've never had surgery and don't really know what to expect. I'm 4 weeks out and my pain is on the left side. Pulling and ripping feeling when I sit, get up, or bend down. I spoke with my nurse today. She said its very normal and it the inner incisions. Today was a little better. She said by 6 weeks they should be healed up. I hope so!!

Hi! Er defiantly an option but I just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced this. I'm waiting for a call back from my doc. I'm post op 3 and a half weeks and for the past 3 days I have pain in my main incision site. When I sit, get up, move or walk a certain way it feels like something is pulling. I assume its because I had major surgery in that area and is healing but I feel like it was better and now more noticeable. Everything so far was pretty Uneventful and I've been following doctor's orders. My one month is this Fri but I may just get checked now to be safe. Any similar experiences please let me know!! Thx in advance

Maybe organic sprouted tofu. It's yummy, lots of protein. I'm still on the purée stage and I have not attempted to purée but I do plan on eating that for my majority of 'lean protein' once on solid.

Pre-op was very difficult for me especially the first 4 days. I'm only 3 1/2 weeks post op but 2 weeks of liquid after surgery, for me, was much easier. Good luck and I hope it gets easier for you.

Congrats on your victorious farts. My toots have diminished since surgery. I'm thinking because of my lack of fruits and veggies. I'm hoping to regain some fart power once I'm on solid good phase but congrats again!! Haha funny topic
