    Pre-Op jitters!

Hi there I have an office job as well and I returned after 10 working days off. You may feel washed out for a few weeks but I had no problem returning after that amount of time. Good luck with it all!!
  2. Best of luck Lila! Go get em!
  3. This thread is so inspiring. I am now only 5 days away from my operation and am looking forward to this. Keep the positive stories coming!! And well done to all for A: making the hard choice to get the op and B: for you amazing weight loss and life transformations!
  4. I am! Yes that would be good may see you there!!
  5. Hi everyone, I have my surgery booked in for Feb 19th. I am tired if the yo yo life plus I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis which has made it very difficult to exercise. I am six foot with a weight of 133 kg. I have an amazing family and reading all of your threads and comments has helped to reassure me that I am making the right choice getting a sleeve. I must admit the nerves are there as are the worries about mourning my food, but then I look at my three year old boy and that refocuses me! I am seeing the clinical psych next Tuesday and then Mr Armstrong on the 14th for a final consult before surgery. I am looking forward to being able to walk into a shop and not ask where the plus sizes are! My ideal and ultimate goal weight is 90 kg! Again your comments and support are very helpful so keep it up
  6. Don't want to rub it in but mid thirties and blue skies over here!!
  7. Thanks everyone some great insights into the process and my concerns. I too have been and up and down weight loss story and now with some other health concerns and a young son I want a long lasting change in my lifestyle. I am fairly sure the sleeve is the tool to help me get there too. Again many thanks for your advice and insights.
  8. Hi everyone I am due to be sleeved on Feb 19. Going through some pretty big ups and downs, fors and againsts! Did anyone else struggle with the permanency if this operation? Just wondering how others dealt with the thought. Thanks.
