Friday my doctor told me my Bmi was 69.4 and being that I'm not to heath cautious she automatically said she wad sending in a recommendation for the surgery because I have been diagnosed with copd and I have high blood pressure. But my worry is who us the doctor out here in the inland empire who does the surgery.- 1 reply

I have had the sleeve but when I was 18 I had the gastric stalling and if this is anything like it you must take it slow I mean you need to allow healing time work with those liquids try sherbert ice cream but not solids to soon and vitamins to keep the nutrients in -
I just learning about this gastric sleeve surgery so from the reading we have to go on some pre op diet correct why? And what dies it consist of?

Well hi everyone I'm a 36 y/o as I weigh 454 lbs and my Dr is sending a recommendation for the sleeve. When I was younger I had the gastric stalling but after had three kids two divorces and gain all but 27 of my original weight back. I hope to get approved because I want to live for my kids. But what is the pre op diet that everyone is speaking of? -
