  1. More portion sizes are fine but maybe I'm still eating too quick. I chew everything until it nearly dissolves in my mouth but then I take another bite. Is that too quick?
  2. You poor thing! I totally understand how you feel. I hope you sort it out soon.
  3. I'm a month tomorrow too. I'm not experiencing bsthroom problems but rather feeling so nauseated ALL the time. To the point where I will vomit (even when I've had nothing). Will this ever stop? I feel disgusting.

    May 2013 Sleevers!

I figure that I should be measuring my weight. Weekly at least instead of daily! I think it's good to set a day to do this each week and to also set yourself some goals. i think this will also help me move towards and achieving lifestyle changes.
  5. I really struggled in the 3 month period after the band removal. With no restrictions and nothing to tell you that you are full I just ate and ate! I put on 7kg which is 15lb but my surgeon expected that!

Wahoo!!! It's only 9:40am and I've already consumed 40g of protein. I'm going to breeze it in today!
  8. I'm nearly 4 weeks post op and on soft food. I have been having a lot of trouble with nausea. I spoke to my surgeon about it and he said it was due to acid in my stomach. I'm on nexium for this but I'm allowed to use gaviscon before each meal to help with this. And I'm happy to say it has!! Finally! Sorry I'm a little excited! I just are some tuna and crackers and felt fine! And, the best part about it was there was 15g of protein in it!
  9. Some people are just rude and don't know when to keep their mouths shut! If you are doing everything right and taking all of the required supplements then you're doing fine. The dark circles may be from tiredness. Remember your body has gone through some serious stress too and does take time to recover! Maybe treat yourself to a facial for all of the hard work you have done

    Am I hungry?

They definitely do! And in different countries too. I'm in Australia and I have noticed the difference from people surgeons in the UK to the USA to AU. Just follow your surgeons and dietician/nutritionists guidelines. This forum is not a bible but more for support and of course ask your surgeon all the relative questions too.

    Am I hungry?

Yes correct about the fluids too ^^^ I had the same problem with feeling like I could eat an entire pizza but its just the liquid phase. It can also be associated with acid in your stomach. Are you taking meds for acid? This can make you think you are hungry too! Believe me when you get to puréed foods you will be thinking how the hell am I going to fit this in!!!

    Am I hungry?

Hello! I'm just over 3 weeks post op and the way I think I can tell if I feel full is by a feeling of heaviness when I stand up or a tightness across your chest. Sometimes I get the hiccups which is also a good indication. I do still get head hunger and sometimes confuse it with real hunger. A good way to know is to have s small bite of something or a drink of water. If the thought goes away then I generally take that as head hunger. Everyone is different and has different triggers so its hard to generalize!
